Stockholm Hotels with Balcony

EXCELLENT LOCATION, KIND STAFFS, UNIQUE AND SPECIAL EXPERIENCE OF STAYING AT YAUT HOTEL FLOATING THE SEA. ESPECIALLY, FOR ME, THE LOUBGE THAT I COMFORTABLY, MOODILY SPENT, SEEING THE PICTURESQUE, ANTIQUE BUILDINGS AROUND & ACROSS THE HOTEL WAS BEST.

The location is great, only a 10-minute walk from the central station, where the airport shuttle also picks up and drops off. It's very close to the commercial street, just a three-minute walk, and there are many restaurants and supermarkets nearby. The room was quite spacious for European standards and very clean. The only downside was that there wasn't much space in the bathroom for toiletries, but everything else was very satisfactory!

The location is excellent, shopping and sightseeing are within walking distance; the room design has many details, the bedside table has exquisite hydroponic flowers, the bath is diptyque, and the breakfast is even more exquisite. The overall design is very Western-style, but not old-fashioned at all.

The hotel is only 5 mins walk to Slussen metro station which can take you to anywhere in Stockholm or day trips outside Stockholm. You can easily walk down from the hotel to Gamla Stan or walk up about 10 minutes to the viewpoint on Mariaberget that overlooks Riddarfjärden, Gamla Stan and the Stockholm City Hall. There are many cafes and restaurants around the hotel and a Pressbyrån (convenience store) nearby in case you need a quick snacks. We booked the king suite with a view and were blessed with beautiful midnight sunset views throughout the 3 nights we were there. The room is clean, good size and the bed is comfy. Suite rooms come with free access to the lounge where they serve free drinks and snacks between 5-7pm. Staff are polite and helpful. Will stay here again if we revisit Stockholm someday!

Lovely hotel. Room was a little on the snug side once you include luggage, but was clean, tidy and had everything we needed. Extra pillows were already in the room which was useful. Room was decorated really nicely and you couldn't hear any outside noise (was on 5th floor). Had dinner and beers/ wine in the adjoining restaurant one night which was good. Also had the complimentary breakfast in the mornings which were well organised and had lots of choices. Only one key to the room (an actual key) so not sure if you could request a second one. Location was great for the station / metro and lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Even the lifts were lovely with old photographs and mini chandeliers in.

Best possible value for money. Excellent location close to major tourist attractions + clothing and accessory stores + supermarkets (5 min walk to Lidl and Hemköp). The room is equipped with everything you may need and has some very pleasant tiny details: mini fridge, kettle, blow dryer, two sets of dumbells, shampoo/lotion/conditioner, safe, a lot of hangers in the wardrobe, two pillows of different softness, blackout curtains, warm floors in the bathroom, temperature regulators in bedroom and bathroom, a lot of power outlets. The breakfast buffet may not be the most varied, but you can still arrange yourself a decent meal (the only disadvantage is that breakfast time ends at 9:30, which for some people might be too early). Would also like to mention really quick and easy check-in/check-out process.

The room was a little on the small side. However, the location was incredibly convenient for getting around, and the price was very reasonable. I would definitely consider staying here again. Be aware that everything in the mini-bar is chargeable, but daily housekeeping was available and the service was excellent.

The staff were professional, courteous, and always willing to assist with any requests, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient. I also appreciated the quiet environment, which allowed for good rest after a long day. Overall, this hotel offers great value for money and a reliable, comfortable stay. I had a fantastic stay at Story Hotel Stockholm Stureplan right in the heart of Stockholm. The location was unbeatable — just steps away from great shopping streets, excellent restaurants, and easy access to public transport, making it perfect for exploring the city on foot. Many attractions like Nybroviken, Strandvägen promenade, and the metro are within walking distance, so it was incredibly convenient for sightseeing. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help, from check‑in to offering local tips. They made me feel truly welcome, and service throughout my stay was consistently excellent. The room was clean, stylish, and comfortable, with modern design details that gave it a chic, Scandinavian vibe. While European city hotels sometimes have smaller rooms, everything felt well‑organized and cozy, and the comfortable bed ensured a great night’s sleep. One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast buffet — it offered a variety of tasty choices and was a great way to start each morning before heading out to explore. The hotel also has a lively bar and restaurant downstairs, perfect for grabbing a drink or dinner without going far. The overall vibe of the property was modern and fun, making the stay feel more like a memorable experience than just another hotel visit. Overall, I would highly recommend Story Hotel Stockholm Stureplan to anyone visiting Stockholm — especially if you want a stylish, centrally located hotel with great service and a welcoming atmosphere.

The hotel is situated in a very suitable place where it is near to several places of interest. The facilities are super good. The staff attitude was good and always helpful. 2 negative episodes though. The chaos created due to construction work going on during our visit, at the hotel , which is somewhat understandable. Secondly , we happened to book the check out date wrongly which was a day after we should have checked out. Despite calling them immediately, they did not accept our wish to change the check out date which was a day before. As a result we ended paying for 2 rooms a day extra without staying at the hotel. Apart from that, the overall impression is very pleasant. We might come back again if they had agreed to change our check out date.
