Service was great. The porter was super helpfully; especially with parking. The concierge was very friendly and helpful as well. The room was clean and general up-keep was done throughout our stay; ie sheet changes, fresh towels and soaps. I would definitely recommend. And no, I am not a bot, and I have not been paid to say so. It was a very pleasant stay.

The hotel was decent enough for a 1-night stay before our flight the next day. The condition off the room itself was a little run down but very clean. The onsite pool wasn't anything special but sufficiently suitable for a dip to cool off. The onsite restaurant was had very generous portions at a fair price (for the area). The beach-front location was amazing and the service we experienced was top notch. Given that this was the cheapest option in the vicinity at the time, overall, it was a good value and we would seriously consider staying here again should the opportunity arise.

It takes about 20 minutes by Uber from the airport to the hotel, costing around USD 20。 I’m staying for five days to attend a conference. I booked Deluxe Junior King Suite with Ocean view, inclusive of the resort fee is the: two bottled waters replenished daily inside the room, two beach chairs, two adult bicycle rentals, two wellness classes. Each day when I return after a full schedule, the room is cleaned and tidied up nicely.

The hotel is clean enough and we received a nice welcome on arrival. However the room service was ‘hit and miss’ with non replacement of creamer and tea bags and a rather confusing charge of $7 for water left in the room which was placed on top of a notice urging us to hydrate drink more with the blessing of the hotel! The charge was retracted on challenge which was nice. The breakfast arrangement is absolutely carnage with at least a 20 min wait to be seated followed by a 60 min wait to receive your food. The hotel does not prioritise its guests so you are at constant challenge of ‘walk-in’ guests taking precedent to be served. We found this unacceptable. We did challenge the excessive wait time but to be told the kitchen was totally backed up and we were not the only ones! Pool terrace was nice and a welcoming space and staff did their best but appear to be chronically understaffed which lets the hotel down badly. We would not stay again u less this was resolved.

Room took an extra hour and 1/2 before I could check in. It was nice having pool/beach availability immediately but I was really in need of a nap after being up 48hrs. The waitress in the poolside restaurant was amazing. I told her my drink was a little watered down and she gave me 2 shots and mixed it again! Room was clean and comfortable and we loved the beach.

The location was great because it was right off the beach but it wasn’t as great the experience. First they have hidden charges they don’t tell you online when you are booking the hotel, you only find out about the charge right when you finish paying (like the hotel $40 fee) and when you are checking in they charge $48 for mandatory valet service if the $42 self parking is full. Additionally, we thought we were going to say in the big building as shown in the picture but no they made up stay in a smaller building across the parking lot. The rooms do not look like they do in the pictures, they are a lot smaller and not that nice. Overall I didn’t enjoy the hotel at all but now I know for next time

First they gave me the wrong room and then they gave me one for the disabled because there was no more room with a king-size bed as I had rented it, in the end I never had the room I had reserved, but in general we had a good stay.

The hotel had a newer feel to it with a pleasant staff . The property was very clean as was the room and pool . Having a small kitchen with a full size refrigerator and stove would be helpful for an extended stay. The hotel was a short 10 minute walk to nice restaurants near the beach at Lauderdale By the Sea and 1 block from a McDonalds . I recommend this place

During our trip through Florida, we had the pleasure of staying one night at the Ocean Reef Hotel, and it was truly a great experience. Upon arrival, we found the reception closed, but it wasn’t long before a very friendly lady came to assist us with check-in. She had just gone out to grab a bite to eat, which is completely understandable – everyone needs food! Once we got to our hotel room, we were pleased to find it clean, well-maintained, and above average in size. Although there were a few minor maintenance issues, what mattered most was that the beds were extremely comfortable and everything was spotless. After checking in, we went out for a meal, but upon returning, we discovered that the parking lot was nearly full, making it difficult to find a spot. Without even needing to ask, a very helpful staff member on the night shift immediately resolved the issue by assigning us a great parking space near the entrance. This thoughtful service made a huge difference. Throughout the night, this gentleman also conducted a round of checks, which gave us a great sense of security. The hotel itself was quiet, and we had a restful night's sleep. The bathroom facilities, including the toilet and shower, were also impeccably clean. In the morning, when we checked out, the same lady who helped us with check-in was there again, and once more, we were greeted with kindness and a friendly smile. This hotel is definitely a place I would return to during a Florida road trip. I highly recommend it and want to thank the staff for their excellent care. It’s absolutely a place to revisit.
