Arriving late from International flight I was after a good value safe hotel for my Daughter and I to stay for one night. We were welcomed with a drink into clean, cool and comfortable ‘no fuss’ reception that adjoins their restaurant. There was a problem with my credit card or their credit card terminal and knowing we were tired they kindly offered to settle account in the morning which was greatly appreciated. We were escorted to our room that was small but comfortable with everything that we would need for our short stay (comfortable beds, clean linen, fridge, aircon and simple toiletries) and for the $38AUD we paid we were absolutely satisfied. Although perhaps heightened by our tiredness the room was a little noisy overlooking the main Benoa Road (we knew this however when booking) and there was also a party with loud music across the road but the noise settled quickly by midnight and we both had a pleasant restful sleep. The Balcony out front was lovely to sit on in the morning and the opening doors great for letting on some fresh air. We hadn’t booked breakfast so we can’t review the food but there are a few options available just a short walk away (we chose a Japanese restaurant a few doors down that had a good breakfast menu). We did view the pool but didn’t have the time to use it but it was certainly adequate for the hotel size and budget. Not much to be negative about but perhaps some feed back and areas of improvement. - Towels although clean a little thin and dated. - Got water didn’t seem to work early in the morning but later it was fine but took some time to come through not bad however because a cool shower often welcome in warm Bali.

Nusa Dua
This hotel is old but very well kept. The room 430 we had was very big and very clean, the view of the pool and ocean was beautiful. The Housekeeping staff are amazing especially Slamet. We would personally like to Thank Slamet as he went above and beyond to make our stay pleasurable. Breakfast was nice, not a lot of Western food but what we had was hot and tasty especially the Egg Station. A big thank you also to Suriati and Tutik for looking after us, it was lovely to see their smiling faces at breakfast. The pool area is lovely with beach access. All food we had at the restaurants was very tasty and hot. Thank you once again for a fabulous stay, see you all again in June.

Nusa Dua
This hotel has found the sweet spot between price and quality. The staff are lovely and the villa was perfect. Breakfast is a la carte and can be delivered to your room. I really enjoyed the breakfast personally. There are plenty of places to grab supplies, eat out or get a massage within walking distance. The beach directly in front of the hotel is not exactly picturesque however you can walk along a path to see nicer parts. I would recommend this hotel as its great value for money especially if you want a private pool. The bed was comfy and I never felt harassed to do any water activities like others have mentioned they had.
Kubu Garden Suites & Villas Nusa Dua

Nusa Dua
I would like to complain about the villa Kubu Garden Suites & Villas Nusa Dua which I booked on *********** twice. I had an incredibly disappointing experience with the management of this villa. My family and I booked the villa from 09/07/23 to 16/07/23 two months in advance, and the manager even confirmed our stay. We tried to pay for the villa but *********** were not able to take our payment. The manager didn't accept our payment. I called *********** but the team could not help me. They called the manager and the manager confirmed our booking. However, just two days before our long-awaited arrival, we received a cancellation notice from the manager. The manager sold our villa. This last-minute cancellation left us scrambling to find alternative accommodations at a time when most places were already fully booked. It completely ruined our travel plans and caused unnecessary stress and frustration. What a disgusting service.

Nusa Dua
Very nice and relaxing for a 12 room B&B. It does have its quirks like my shower head spurts water everywhere on the outside, so taking a shower has been a chore. They did replace the shower head, but it to did the same. My room had the morning sun from 6am and as the blunds are very thin, you are wide awake. I only have 1 lamp which only lights the tip of the corner of the bed and the bathroim light above the mirror is hanging off the wall and not working. Restuarant, well, patio, is very basic limited food. Also, its not open every night, so make sure you check in the morning as your not told. The main chain resorts are 5 minute walk down the road, which you can eat & use their facilities, including their beach as Palm Garden does not have beach access apart from the free shuttle, all day. They do charge anywhere from 250k to 450k rupee ($25 - 45aud), but it is worth it. Shuttle bus is, a van with seats removed and small benches 10cm wide placed in for seating, no windows, old. I prefer to catch a blue taxi wherever possible. Staff is very helpful, polite and english speaking, most of the week. Come Wednesday to Saturday there must be a staff change as they have very very limited english and you need to wait until the morning to speak to the Manager to have your queries answered. I would stay again but only for 2 nights max.
