Perfect location, very close to the mother temple Besakih and edelweis garden. 2-3 km to the trailheads of Mt. Agung. We stayed one night before trekking the mt. Agung. The hotel consist of 6 simple rustic cabins. 3 of them facing to the swimming pool, with amazing overview of beautiful valley and the sacred Agung volcano. The staff are nice and welcoming, make our stay more memorable. Highly recommended for people who want to spend more time to explore the area.

I will start by saying the cuisine was superb. I used to live in Bali 10years ago for 5years and I am passionate about food. It was so good to be able to eat authentic Balinese cuisine which was cooked authentically with all the spices and cooking methods. A big congratulations to the chef whose beef Rendang was better than Potatoes Heads Indo restaurant and for the Ayam Betutu which was exactly like a Balinese mother would prepare. The staff were young but enthusiastic and helpful. For me this was great to experience an authentic Balinese experience again after so much has been lost in the developments down south. Congrats to you all And the mountain views are spectacular when the clouds clear

Location: Just on the mountain behind the water palace, walk from the path on the left side of the water palace gate to an uphill road along the periphery of the wall, and you will reach the hotel. This is a shortcut. It only takes 5 minutes. Room: There are only two mountain-view rooms in the B&B, facing the terraces and Mountain Lempuyang in the distance. In the morning, you can have breakfast while watching the sunrise, which is very good. The single room I live in is a double room with a separate bathroom and balcony. The biggest highlight of the bathroom is that it is designed as a patio with a bonsai, which is very unique. The big bed is facing the floor-to-ceiling glass window, you can lie down and watch the scenery. Meals: I chose a single room without breakfast, but the owner Kuta provided breakfast very nicely, including banana pancake, juice, coffee, and fruit. If you have a meal at other times, you can go to the restaurant opened by your nephew, a 5-minute walk away from his home. Service: The owner, Kuta, is warm and hospitable, and he will recommend the itinerary in TirtaGanga according to your preferences. I also specially hand-painted a map to guide the guests to the nearby terraces or do a village trecking. He is also a local trekking guide, so I asked him to do the trecking guider for the next day. The cost is Rp100k/hrs. Kuta The whole process was very patient and meticulously explained the various local plant crops, customs, and religious beliefs. Full of harvest.

Located in the less explored area of Bali - Sidemen, is this resort combining luxury with nature! Their scenic check in area gives a plush feel to the resort and you instantly get a feel of entering into luxury. We had got their Joglo villa which was situated at the top of the resort so there is a bit of walking from the reception. The modern architecture combined with a luxurious traditional Balinese style intricacies in the room made it look beautiful! Looking at other villas and their exterior, you get the urge to get clicked in front of every villa! Only thing to be careful about are the insects and the frogs. They can get quite uncomfortable if you’re not used to them!! We got a frog inside our bathroom but the staff was very quick to come and get rid of that in an instant. So service wise, true balinese hospitality is definitely there. Their beautiful restaurant was definitely one of the highlights! The hanging plants and the lights give such a chic feel to the place. Definitely a must visit if you’re a nature lover and want to experience luxury!

Stayed here for 2 nights and would recommend staying in Sidemen if you plan on visiting East Bali. We booked a whole villa and it was very spacious with a bed with mosquito net in the centre, plus a little outdoor area with sofa where you can lounge outside. The bathroom is huge with a separate shower, very long bathtub and 2 sinks. The staff are super friendly and helpful. We missed breakfast one day because we forgot the finishing time and also because there was a torrential downpour that stopped us from leaving our villa, but the staff were really accommodating about it and even brought us the breakfast to us. The breakfast here is delicious and they have western and Indonesian breakfast options with juices, veg, fruit and teas too. My only complaint is that the lighting in the villa was very dim so I struggled a little bit in the room at night. And the aircon was too close to our heads so we slept at the other end of the bed. However we loved our stay here and this was one of our favourite places we stayed in Bali.
