Ubud Aura Retreat

Ubud Bali|0.12km from DaLa SPA
I stayed at Ubud Aura for 10 days back in June/July. It was a home away from home. It was quiet and peaceful down a laneway, yet so close to so many of Ubud's attractions. I was in a Superior Single Room which was perfect for my needs; very spacious with own bathroom, TV, Kettle etc. The bed was a King Single which was a pleasant surprise. The room itself was under $50 NZ each night which is just incredible for what you get! There was no fridge (if you wanted to get food etc at the Supermarket). It was the little things that made it amazing for me – there was a welcome fruit basket in my room, the free afternoon tea was delicious, the staff were always smiling and helpful, the pool area was lovely, there were some really lovely body lotions, soap etc in the bathroom that were topped up every day and a free filtered water dispenser to fill up your water bottle. What I really enjoyed was meeting people at breakfast (which was varied and delicious) as you all end up sitting at a long communal table, where everyone was friendly and welcoming. There were a lot of other solo female travellers which was ideal for me. I got a lot of tips about things to see and do. Admittedly, a lot of the people were here for the yoga and medication classes at the nearby Yoga Barn and in Ubud itself. I was not there specifically for this. The location really worked for me – Yoga Barn down the laneway, Zen Bali Spa for fabulous massages for $10 NZ right next door, Supermarket and ATM’s about 3 mins walk away. There were loads of restaurants, shopping and ‘sites’, right out on the main road. I used the in-house laundry option (pay by pieces) which compared in price to the other laundry options available on the street (pay by weight). I was initially worried after reading the review about feeling unsafe walking down the walkway/ lane that leads to Ubud Aura. It is a little dark late at night and sometimes there are people from Zen Bali Spa or Taxi drivers waiting, but there is also loads of other people using the lane (which also leads to the Yoga Barn) so I am glad I ignored the review and went anyway. I can’t wait to return again. 😊

Ubud
We booked this hotel with a young man and friends for a short trip to Ubud for the weekend. We searched through the well-known hotel booking service and enjoyed reviews, rating and primarily the price. For 2 rooms paid 2 345 000. The hotel is in the center, there is a parking lot, staff is wonderful. The area is green. There is a small pool and restaurant. The building is two-storey. The rooms are far from each other, so it is quite quiet. Only hectares are noisy on the ward, but it adds color) The rooms are big, in the Bali style. However. Be prepared to see that the door to the bathroom in the room is not available. Instead, the usual polyethylene curtain! ) Bed normal but bed is strange: instead of a sub-coat folded 2 times the sheet)))) Such a pleasure) And the room is not just a shower, but also a bath. But the water pressure is critically weak and it will not be possible to adjust the comfortable temperature, because the water is either burning hot or ice. The hotel is located as 4*, but four stars don't smell. Rather it is 2*. With a stretch - 3*. Towels were given one, soap, shampoo and air conditioner in small recycled twist tubes. But in any in the case we brought all ours. Fen in the room is not. The blankets with holes, the cleaning is medium. But to just sleep in the hotel and spend the whole day outside it - ok. By the way, the spa center in the hotel is not working either)

OH MY GOSH!!! We both love this hotel!!! This was the first time i stayed in Ubud area because i was looking for a 2 days retreat, no shopping, no going out. Just stayed in the hotel to relax. I booked the Alaya room and was satisfied with my choice and the help of the reservation department so that i was given the paddy field view. The only minus was the air conditioning was not as cold as expected, i supposed it needs some service. But that was just very minor that i didn't make any complaint. The bed was sooo oohh comfortable, but the pillows were a bit bulky and thick. The balcony was friendly to us. Since we webt there when it was the last week of liw season, we got a really nice quiet, and minimal guests in the hotel area. My room was in building 1 and it was excellent!! All staffs were wonderful, very helpful and very polite. I couldn't say more to express my satisfactions and gratitutes to all of you, but i can only let you know that the next time i m coming to stay in Ubud, ALAYA will be my number 1 choice!!

Ubud’s accommodation has been entangled for a long time. I chose this house. After the store, I was actually quite surprised. The environment is more beautiful than the picture. The overall facilities are also good, but I don’t know if it is scheduled on Ctrip. The room given is A bias, the same price can live in a small building, this is not very satisfactory. The whole hotel is surrounded by a rice field, the photos are very beautiful, there is a swimming pool, and the time relationship has not gone. The standard room is the bathroom in the room, the room is fully equipped, there is a small balcony, but there are more mosquito ants gecko in the field, it is also understandable. There is a spa in the hotel, but I need to make an appointment. I closed the door quite early in the evening and didn't do it. I just killed the chicken outside.

This is the best hotel for its price I lived in Bali. Everything is clean, tea and coffee and kitchen available free of charge. polite smiling staff. Of the downsides only: a towel for 10,000 baht if you stay for a day better to have your own. I am happy to return here again.
