Bali Denpasar 4-star Hotels

The room is so clean, I enjoyed staying in Aston Denpasar for 3 nights, maybe I'll be back soon, if I'm going to Bali. The staff is so nice, and the breakfast is good. The wifi is kinda slow, but i still can use it. Thanks Aston Denpasar 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

I am visiting family in the area so needed to stay in a hotel nearby.on first impression the photos looked perfect. However,on arrival I was shown to a room on the ground floor which wasn’t clean, was dated and broken plastic around the shower area which I felt was unhygienic and a safety concern. The patio doors wouldn’t lock which as a solo traveller didn’t make me feel safe. I asked at reception to be moved. After a few minutes of discussion I was told I could move to a “new” room on the third floor overlooking the pool. First impression it was definitely an improvement but definitely not a “new” room. Paint peeling, laminate wood peeling, broken kettle, no fridge. A new kettle and an old fridge was then replaced. The bath and the basin were not clean with a ring of scum. The room was superficially cleaned daily by very friendly and willing cleaners. Bed linen and towels changed regularly. 2 bottles of water daily was a plus. Nowhere to put hand soap by the basin which meant crossing the room to get soap? The design of the room not thought through. Mirrors so high you could barely see unless on tip toe and I’m average height. Velvet chairs a hotel theme and not very practical for a tropical country. The safe deposit box didn’t work and despite asking it remained the same. The incessant piano music in the morning same reel which was eventually changed after I complained… the afternoon it changed to pop music but again the same reel… and no I did not want to be woken at 630 -7 every morning with piano music does anyone? Cockroaches in the room …. When I complained I was given a spray. Overall the hotel served its purpose of being close to my family. The staff were very friendly and kind which I really appreciated.

Everything was perfect for my short trip breaking from my routine. And it was my first time traveling since C19 pandemic. Great location, great staff, clean and well maintained rooms and facilities. Afternoon tea n selected snacks were included in my booking room but if you want a set of complete afternoon tea for 2 pax, it's available with additional and affordable price. Definitely will come back!

It was written as a 4-star hotel, however our experience was definitely a 5-star hotel experience. From the front desk to the room was really great, modern and artsy. The room itself was so tidy, clean and spacious. The amenities on the room was very complete, they even provide a speaker and coffee machine there. The breakfast is exquisite, they even have a barista to serve us a cup of coffee. Every staff members I met were professional, delightful and eager to help. Not to mention, the location was really great. It not too crowded but close to anywhere. You can go to the beach by 3 minutes walk and enjoy the sunrise. I definitely will be back here! and recommend this hotel to people I know🤍

Traveling with family, the environment and service are very good, very kind and friendly, there are many choices for breakfast, but the sanitation needs to be improved, there is something like ”dried vomit” left by the sink, Lucky Strike brings its own disinfectant spray Next to it is the construction site. The foundation is being laid. It is not too loud, but there is a sound of large-scale machinery running from morning to 12 o'clock in the evening. It should be that we live in the last room in the basement, which is the closest to the construction site. Even the walls and floors have slight problems. shock But even so, next time I go to Bali, I will still choose this hotel

I am baffled at how this hotel is 4*. The only thing 4* is the lobby and then it very quickly deteriorated into a 2* hotel. We are typically hostel guests (not fussy) and treated ourselves to what looked like a luxurious hotel from the photos for a day and a night before our flight. Pros: nice pool, good shower pressure, nice bed and pillows. Cons: No air con throughout the hotel, just in the rooms! Incredibly sweaty if you are not in your room (breakfast lunch dinner drinks etc). We had to ask someone to help with our luggage to the 5th floor, which was reluctantly provided - not what you expect for 4*. The room was dirty - our feet were black and gritty from walking around the room after a shower. The rooms stink! If the aircon is on the rooms smell like old food / sewage (there are multiple reviews about this) so we turned ours off. Shower door leaked so the bathroom became a wet room and soaked the clothes on the floor. Pool bar not open for the duration of our stay. Poor restaurant - service, food, drinks, atmosphere are all below par. We were not greeted when we arrived at the restaurant for dinner, and we had to get up to find our waiter to order drinks and food every time. Our empty glasses were not cleared and food left for a long time. We then got our bill and were shocked by the 21% service charge. We tried to argue this but it was refused to be taken off the bill because it apparently was ‘not possible’. Would not recommend this hotel if you are looking for a 4* stay.

Stayed here with my big family for about 5 days. Located in the small street in Denpasar city, the Villa is very quite. You heard almost nothing of the traffic sounds. The room is quite big. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Very easy also to find food because the area is surrounded by many warung or resto.

We had a great stay at this hotel but there were issues. I am writing this review as clearly as positive to help you weigh the negatives with the positives, as the value for money WAS excellent. GREAT THINGS The staff are fabulous. You can't beat the location. Right on the main strip of restaurants and next door to Artesedana (old Hardys), so you can buy all the water, drinks and fresh food you need. We had a cabana room and it was exactly as portrayed. Loved our plunge pool and the super comfy lounger chairs. Plenty of pool towels available. This is one of the few Bali hotels I have eaten at that does cakes really well. The breakfast didn't have massive selection, but everything was well cooked and tasty. Room service meals were great too. I am also mindful that any other hotel could offer a plunge pool room with breakfast in a main location for anywhere near the price we paid. It was excellent value for money. NEGATIVES Our king bed was so awful. It was on a wooden base which creaked loudly every time you moved. It also swayed with even the slightest movement, so not great sleep there. It might be worth considering getting twin share so that at least you don't wake each other up all night simply moving. It is very noisy. There were 3 dogs in the laneway behind our room who barked all night. Not intermittent barking, constant barking. There was one night in our 8 night stay where they only barked for a few hours and thankfully went silent - but barked the rest of the evenings. I wore 34db earplugs every night and the dogs still kept me awake. I don't know what was being moved in the rooms above us, but it sounded like furniture was being dragged on and off most of the night. I was incredibly loud and woke us both each time - even me wearing earplugs. The hallways are also very noisy. The internet access is unsecured and you constantly have to keep logging back on, which made it difficult to do work while we were on holidays. Not a negative - but keep in mind this is a low-service hotel in that there is no pool bar and no service at the pool, no money exchange offered (although there is a great money changer directly over the road). This didn't worry us, but could be disappointing for anyone wanting the pool bar experience. CONCLUSION On the whole, I still consider the room was excellent value for money and I enjoyed my stay. Probably wouldn't go back - just because sleep is an important part of the holiday and it was so noisy!

Love staying at Taksu when we're in Sanur. The location is great and near some excellent restaurants. Staff are lovely and the hotel is just the right size.

The room was cozy and modern ambiance, staff were warm welcoming. Amenities were sufficient, so much enjoy the bath tube. But the TV always stay no signal, and the electrical plugs next to the bed were malfunctioning. Sad we had no chance to try the hotel’s breakfast, because we have had a very early tour. However, there were still lot of restaurants, bars and supermarkets with walking distance. Also just 3mins walk to the beach, the long coastal was so relaxing to walk, and the beach was clear blue green colour, so eye catching.
