We had 2 nights at this amazing place Although small restaurant but they had delicious food

Had a 2-night stay, was upgraded to a 2-bedroom villa as a birthday surprise. The less-than-good: - The location. Not just far from central Ubud, but from everything else. No mini mart within comfortable walking distance. - Inaccessible. To get from the lobby to the main road, there is a long and VERY steep road. Some of our drivers had difficulty going up/down, most bike riders will refuse to go down. You have to climb lots of steps to go to anywhere from your villa as the whole property is on a steep hillside. Not elderly or wheelchair friendly. The perfect: - The staff. Amazing. All smiles, very helpful. Upgraded us and decorated the bed. - The view. You'll be in a rice terrace valley. Spectacular in the day. Better than a seaview. - The infinity pool. - The food. Breakfast was wonderful with enough variety. - The activities. Expect yoga and cooking classes etc, but the highlight was a Balinese dance night over a 4-course dinner. Memorable. - The beds and bathrooms. Large, comfortable. A wonderful stay, good for a few nights to lay low and be one with nature, especially if you don't plan on going out much.

Convenient location if you are planning to go to the volcano and rice terraces. Friendly staff.

The environment is very good, but it's a bit scary at night, just like in the countryside, with a winding, unlit path that suddenly takes you there. The food is ok and filling, but the price is not cheap.

In love with Villa 401. The perfect paradise for privacy

It was definitely a good choice. The service was lovely, everything was super clean. I stayed in a villa with a private pool and the experience was super good.

It was a nice villa with high ceilings. However, there were a lot of bugs. And what was probably the neighbor's dog was barking for over an hour from the morning, which was very loud and unpleasant.

The surrounding natural scenery is very beautiful, the view of canyons, rivers and terraced fields, it was really amazing when I just checked in on the first day! But the feeling of living is getting worse and worse... Because first of all, it is very humid here, and the clothes are not dry after three days of washing, and the original dry clothes hanging in the wardrobe also feel wet. There is always a musty smell in the room, and it seems that it is mainly emitted by the pillow. The next day, after asking for a new pillow, it is slightly better, but there is still a faint musty smell. The room only has windows on one side, and the bathroom has no windows at all, so the ventilation conditions are very poor. Secondly, not counting the external swimming pool and balcony, the room is actually very small! In addition, because of the humidity, the cleaning is not clean, the bed is damp, the mosquito net is dirty and has a musty smell, the air conditioner is very noisy, and ants are crawling everywhere! In short, living is uncomfortable! There is an electric mosquito-repellent incense device in the room, but no electric mosquito-repellent-repellent pills are provided after asking for several times. We can only rely on providing outdoor mosquito-repellent incense every night. It is the traditional kind of mosquito-repellent incense with a strong smell. It is not suitable for indoors, and you will be choked . In the end, I added some remarks when booking the room, but the hotel completely ignored it. This is really different from the service of the Bali villas I have stayed in before! One more thing, I went for the single-family swimming pool and the environment at the beginning, but the weather there was always humid, not hot, and the water temperature was extremely cold. It was not suitable for swimming in the pool at all, and the surrounding scenery was really better. Not recommended to stay!

If you don't have any requirements for food and drink, you can come here if you just want to rest and practice. Take a taxi or rent a motorbike wherever you go. But grab is a little hard to use here, maybe it’s because it’s too far away The hotel can help you book a car, but the cost is very expensive. The shuttle bus to the airport is not free and costs a lot more. I can't get a car appointment, so I can only accept it. Hygiene is just that, the toilet seat has a lot of stains, I rinsed it myself. Eating and drinking in the hotel, the food is quite satisfactory, The environment is good, the birds are singing and the flowers are fragrant and green, but there will be small animals There is a long steep slope from the hotel to the main road, don't wear slippers. In general, it is too far from the bustling area and is not recommended.

Except for the relatively old facilities, there are no other problems, and I will live again

Whether it is the environment or the service, this hotel can be described as exceeding expectations! We ordered a candlelight dinner at the hotel and liked the arrangement very much!

The estate is set in a beautiful location with serene lake and valley views, but unfortunately, the experience did not live up to expectations. Getting there is very difficult—after a sharp left off the main road, you're directed down a narrow country path that becomes increasingly steep and abrupt, making access quite a challenge. While the setting is picturesque, the property itself feels old and derelict. The pool had a massive palm leaf floating in it on arrival, and in December the water was far too cold to enjoy. The room had several issues: spiders, lizards, and blood-sucking flies were frequent visitors. The air conditioner was extremely old, noisy, and kept shutting down every few minutes. The TV didn’t work properly, and although the property supposedly has three Wi-Fi networks, they shut them off in the evening, leaving us without connection throughout our stay. The bathtub couldn’t hold water, making it unusable, and overall, the room and facilities clearly need refurbishment if the property wishes to retain its star rating.
