Kamajaya Villas

Stayed here during our honeymoon, the place looks amazing and we had a fantastic time. The staff were also incredibly nice. There is an open concept on the bottom floor which lets you see birds flying in and out (never stayed inside) which made our relaxing time at the villa that much better. I highly recommend Kamajaya Villas!

Worst accommodation ever . We informed Kamajaya prior, of our arrival in March 2024 at 12 am . Upon arrival with our daughters at 12 am we were disgusted at the rooms and entire property . Sheets in both rooms were soiled and stained with brown and yellow stains . Bathrooms downstairs were stinking and with cob webs with hair stands . The floors had stained and had not been cleaned. The bathroom upstairs were filthy with soap scum and rust all over the bathroom and we did not even shower after our long flight. Forced to stay the night( as kamajya does not have 24 hour service we could not ask anyone to change our sheets or accommodation to another villa) we attempted to contact the management several times in the morning with no response . Front desk that opened at 9.30 am said they can’t help we have to contact property manager directly . Over the next 4 days neither *********** nor us had any response form Kamajaya to our calls or messages . We were about to return to property to speak to someone in person (instead of enjoying our holiday we were chasing Kamajaya ) for a refund, when we stumbled upon a WhatsApp chat to which they eventually responded . After all the chasing they refunded the money for nights we did not stay at Kamajaya , however refused to refund for the night we were compelled to stay there . Very very pathetic and poor service and response rate .

- When we arrived, nohody service us. Only housekeeper give us key and manager what's up number, due to manager was day off so no one can really help us to get Taxi ,power charge and travel plan .etc, It was not very nice for start and kind disappoint us, however after she is back, feel much better have someone help and get massage in the villa, that's was really nice. No breakfast in this villa and around there is not have any restaurant. Location wasn't very convenient for new travellers to visit ubud first time. Villa is old need some renovations, specifically the deck for pool area, downstairs floor really slippery, need be really careful - Nice villa with great pool and amazing bathroom, both of them has baths The bed is so comfortable, I wish I can to bing mattress back home

It was an amazing stay at Kamajaya Villas. The swimming pool is huge and the wifi is good. There is a big enough kitchen for two people in the 1 bed room pool villa. The road where the hotel is gets a little dark there at night but never feels unsafe. The view is pool and green plants inside Villa, no outside views. Staff is helpful and helped us check-in early as well.

Definitely going back to Kamajaya if I’m visiting Ubud again. First of all, the villa was so beautiful, private and calm. It’s clean, the bed’s nice and soft and I loved the outside seating area which is perfect for the evenings or rainy moments. Not to forget the private pool. Just nice. Second of all, the staff is very kind and helpful. They served breakfast on time and asked us several times if everything was ok. They even helped us arrange our trip to Nusa Penida, which must have been a lot of work with two transports and a boat. Kamajaya is placed a bit outside of Ubud, but is was no problem to get drivers through Grab. The same goes for food delivered all the way to the door on lazy times. All in all, I loved staying at Kamajaya🙏🏼
