We spent two night in this villa and enjoyed a lot with the great services provided by the local staff. We also took breakfast, lunch and dinner in their restaurant without going out of the hotel. The foods are really delicious and we will definitely to be back next year!

We enjoyed our stay in this resort so much. The stuff was very friendly, the villa was cleaned every day very well. The restaurant is excellent with a discount of 30% for guests of the resort. The swimming pool near the restaurant was very nice and clean. The water for shower and bathtub hot like you want. And the stuff are soooo friendly and always attentive to us. Our stay at De Moksha Eco Friendly Boutique Resort was incredible. The peaceful, tropical setting made it feel like a hidden oasis, and every detail of the resort reflected their eco-friendly focus. The absolute highlight for us was the outdoor bathroom – such a unique and beautiful experience, showering under the open sky surrounded by nature. The villa was spacious, clean, and incredibly relaxing. Staff were warm, attentive, and went out of their way to ensure we felt cared for. If you’re looking for a tranquil escape with a touch of luxury and sustainability, I can’t recommend this place enough.

Good food, good drinks, good service. There are yoga classes every day, breakfast service is really nice. Staff are very warm, friendly and responsive with requests and queries via WhatsApp. Highly recommended despite the seemingly old and worn out facilities due to “natural” aging , it’s part of its charm (ants, lizards, and other insects and bugs thrive around)

Room is quiet and nice away from the buzz but bit far with traffic from airport about 1.5hrs. The villa is super nice with private pool, but do also dip in the amazing public pools. Breakfast is simple and nutritious with a focus on wellness. Room is very big.

I loved my stay at this villa, super chilled and relaxing, I would highly recommend the place. I loved the small pools and the main pools too. Just overall very nice.

De Moksha was the perfect place for my wife and me to stay during our recent trip to Bali. We spent five nights there and loved every moment. The pool was beautiful and peaceful, and the breakfast every morning was fresh and delicious. The staff were incredibly friendly and always willing to help with anything we needed. Our private villa was a standout feature—it was spacious, comfortable, and had a kitchen, which made it easy for us to prepare a few meals ourselves. We also appreciated the location; it was quiet and surrounded by stunning rice fields, but still close enough to walk to a nearby night market and other rental places. If you’re looking for a relaxing and memorable stay in Bali, De Moksha is an amazing choice. We can’t wait to visit again!

My favourite place is the outdoor bath and shower area 🛁and the toiletries. Bed was so comfortable, bedsheets and towels fresh and clean. There is a kitchen area we didn't need to use it.The pool water doesn't look very clean, I can understand because of fhe fallen leaves surrounding it. We didn't use it too. Hotel provided daily breakfast, it was okay. You will be surprised they have a very smart sweet dog, Arma🐕. One night, we came back late from dinner, Arma came out from recep area, she actually led us all the way back to our villa 🥰 , I thanked her and asked if she would like to come in, she seems to understand, she stepped in and sat with us awhile, but she kept looking at the door, 5mins later she got up and return to recep area by herself. Do bring snacks for Arma if ur visiting DeMoksha, dog lovers would love her. Recep were friendly and helpful. Villa is very far away from elsewhere, no restaurants or shops nearby u need to GoJet and be ready for an hour plus journey for dinner, room service last order at 9pm. Overall our stay was pleasant, quiet and villa is really special. Oh not forgetting environment is beautiful,a small restaurant where you eat over looking a small padi field in the vicinity too.

A little oasis tucked away - Breakfast was delicious and healthy and was definitely the best part of my stay! The smoothie bowls and juices and fruits were so fresh. Eggs Benedict on hash brown was amazing. The restaurant was beautiful and if you’re lucky one of their in-house dogs will come up to you asking for food (and pets) . Service was great and counter staff know you by name. The place never felt overcrowded . They have two yoga spaces - Dharma Shala (a small yoga space next to padi fields) and Shala Bhakti (yoga space next to the restaurant usually used by YTT ). Dharma Shala was a bit run down - flooring was uneven and there was always lizard poop or bugs all over the floor. Mats was not that clean or well maintained too. I much preferred yoga and enjoyed the space at Shala Bhakti as the floor was clean and props were well maintained. We attended classes by Bez and Ari - they were patient and kind to beginners, and guided us gently in our practice. Rooms were spacious but with outdoor toilets you would have a bit of a bug situation, but the resort staff will try to clean it as much as they can. If you prefer indoor toilets you might want to book the deluxe room instead. Shopping can be done at pepito grocery store a short gojek drive away. This place is perfect for a get away as it’s quiet and you’re surrounded by nature.

My stay at De Moksha was heavenly! The staff were so attentive, helpful and kind. I did yoga every morning during my 6 day stay. The yoga classes were some of the best I've attended, and the teachers were amazing! I had a plunge pool at my villa, plus access to two other large pools and sun loungers. The room toiletries were natural and good quality - the attention to detail is excellent. The bed was comfy and fresh unlimited mineral water provided. There is a good selection of food, including healthy options. The highlights for me were the Balinese dishes and teas. At breakfast you can make your own fresh veggie and fruit juices. De Moksha is a peaceful and magical haven. Lots of butterflies and greenery. I would highly recommend for a relaxing and wholesome stay.

This resort has great potential, but lacks managerial oversight. From my initial communications with them to my last airport transfer booking, I experienced issues with communication. Initially I had wanted to book a yoga retreat, but didn't get any kind of response for a few weeks. Eventually I found a phone number that I could use for WhatsApp, but then they wouldn't upgrade my reservation. Which in hindsight is just as well, as I was able to attend the amazing yoga classes, but had the freedom to go elsewhere for meals, spa treatments and activities. None of the aforementioned were particularly stellar at De Moksha, with the activities such as tours being of rather questionable quality. The best thing about De Moksha is the yoga teachers - they are each special in their own way, and attending classes was the highlight of my trip. The villa's don't look quite as in the photo's - the "luxury" accommodation is in need of an update. Cleanliness could also be improved - the bathroom was never really clean, nor was the patio. Amenities are great - toiletries are eco friendly, and coffee and tea replenished daily. But overall the accommodation was just a little tired, as were the spa facilities. The swimming pools are lovely though, as are the yoga shalas. As the rate I paid for the accommodation was quite reasonable, I am happy to accept the standards at De Moksha. However, the poor guest communication means that I will not recommend this resort for anything but their yoga. There were constant issues with miscommunication, including being asked to pay bills twice, and ever-more expensive quotations for the same airport transfer. No apologies were offered, and I was informed that I couldn't speak to a manager, as it was outside office hours. However, over the next 2 days there was still no response from management. As a manager I would have liked to hear these comments first-hand rather than reading them in a review. I would suggest some form of satisfaction survey, so that management keeps abreast of clients' experiences. They don't seem to be out and about in the resort. In conclusion I would highly recommend the yoga classes, but would advise to stay elsewhere unless you find a really good offer on De Moksha's accommodation.
