Poppies is a lovely bungalow complex just perfect for couples. It wouldn’t suit families as the pool is quite small, and the room has just one queen bed. Gardens are lovely and well kept, and being right on Poppies Lane 1, has many small generic and speciality shops within an easy walk, right in the lane. Guests should be aware though that opposite the entrance are a group of menacing dogs, which came out to us and were a real risk. The staff were very understanding of this, though probably can’t control the open gate which was where they had escaped. As there is a high risk of rabies in Bali, guests should be aware that this could pose a problem. The breakfasts were probably the best and most varied we had on our recent trip, and Poppies Restarurant nearby is a lovely setting to enjoy those. Ideal for a little rest where you can live in a tiny cottage with cool air-conditioned rooms and a large sofa to lounge on. The bathroom is special with an outside feeling and perfect layout. Great Hotel! A big thank you to the girl at the reception who was very helpful! Talk to the taxi driver we booked via Grab to give instructions!

This is my lovely hotel in Kuta. But during my third staying in the hotel the floor was dirty.

🏝️ Share Your Stay at Poppie Bali 🛏️ Our stay at Poppie Bali is highly recommended! We stayed in a Balinese-style cottage with a thatched roof, nestled in a tropical garden. The room was fully equipped, clean, and tidy, with warmth and comfort in every detail. 🌿 The tranquil and beautiful setting, surrounded by lush greenery, gave it a truly resort-like feel. 🍽️ The breakfast was also incredibly rich and delicious, with both local and Western options, making waking up every morning a delight! ❤️ My wife and I loved it here; it was a truly relaxing and romantic experience.

The room was very clean and nice. There's lots of greenery and the pool is great♪ However, the smell of the room may vary from person to person.

The hotel is very cost-effective, with warm service, good environment, plenty of green plants, and most importantly, it is quite clean. Of course, the local water quality is not good, so you should bring your own filter shower head, disposable items, etc. The room is musty and damp, after all, it is unavoidable due to climate reasons. There is a large bathroom. There is also a free airport pick-up service, close to the foreigner street and the beach, and the location is also excellent, with food, drink and entertainment outside.

The hotel's green environment is OK, but the hygiene is very dirty. There are many black spots and long hair on the bath towel. The bath towel must have been left unchanged by the previous tenant. The towel is also black. There are no slippers in the room. I walked a few steps barefoot and my soles were black. 😖

A typical Indonesian-style boutique hotel, all rooms have small gardens and semi-open-air bathrooms, quiet in a bustling area, and the greenery is quite charming. set Breakfast is not very good, the croissant is reheated the next day, and other things are not delicious, but everything else is very good. High cost performance.

An unexpected surprise in the alley, the garden is exquisitely built, with independent suites, privacy and quietness, semi-open toilets and bathrooms, where you can dry clothes, which is very convenient. The beach is just a few minutes walk away at the other end of the alley, with surfing enthusiasts and noisy crowds, and the sunset is beautiful.

First of all, I would like to praise that the decoration of this hotel is quite Southeast Asian, and it is an immersive experience of Indonesian culture. The food is also delicious, and the service attitude of the staff is also very good. The only drawback is that there are a lot of bugs, and there are inevitably mosquitoes. I also found a lot of small bugs on my daughter's bed. The staff said that they fell from the thatched ceiling, and they also helped to replace the mattress. A friendly reminder for everyone, never turn on the light above the bed, otherwise the bed below will be infested by bugs.

The extra bed for the child was already paid for when he checked in, but they asked us to pay for it when we checked out. At first the hotel insisted that we had not paid, and then I said I had paid with a card yesterday, and they immediately said they checked it, and they were very suspicious of fraud.

A wonderful hotel, a green oasis among benches, cafes and whirring mopeds. It is literally a 5-7 minute walk from the beach. The room (house 17) was generally superb, there was a small problem with the water pressure in the washbasin, but overall this had little effect on comfort. Breakfast is hearty + you can choose different combinations every day and order them delivered to your room.
