Location far. scenary is standard in ubud and better to go for maya or padma, even westin. Very inflexible and service not good, not welcoming. upon check in was told to pay 300rb cash, which couldnt be held on my credit card instead. Its a very small property in the middle of nowhere so you will get bored very quickly. No covid protocol, temp testing, sanitizers inadequate. Was celebrating a friends birthday at the property but staff didnt bother and no nice gestures. We were provide 2 mini bottles of water probably the smallest i have ever seen in any hotel. Room is comfy but design not the best. For example you have 2 showers in the small bathroom, outdoor and indoor. Fridge is on the lower floor so you have to walk down anytime you want to access, and door opens out towards the very narrow stairs. Staff inexperienced. During breakfast ordered sausage and bacon which had been verified to be beef, and yet thankfully the manager came over to double check and told us it was pork and chicken instead, good because we dont eat pork. Asked what type of tea they have and was given black tea but upon asking the manager lo and behold they had a whole list. Btw the juice provided was literally about 150ml. Finally requested a late checkout at 1pm for 2 rooms but was only allowed 1 even when property was mostly empty. it is covid and lockdown period. I have my suspicions about the reviews online about this hotel that were too good to be true, and this hotel is so stingy it does warrant a warning from me to prospective guests.
