The service was excellent. If you are looking for a quiet place away from the city center, this is the right place! So peaceful. Especially for the yoga practice, a few nice yoga studios nearby, so it’s a good location to stay. No hair dryer and blanket on day 1 as a normal setup, but it is provided upon request! So many ants, a little flies in the room, and there were more the nighttime. But seems they are unavoidable when you live in Bali.

I booked it for the opening in 2021, so I thought I’d stay far away. I rented a motorcycle anyway, but the furniture is very old and feels like it has seen better days. I don’t know why, but it’s full of potholes. This is a shame, but everything else is pretty good.

The hotel looked nice from photos, but unfortunately, our experience didn’t match up. We arrived after a long trip and were met with laughter from the staff. The shower was hanging off the wall, and while they tried to fix it, it remained barely functional. The balcony doors didn’t close properly, letting in insects and lizards. Communication was poor, and the staff didn’t seem interested in helping. It’s also worth noting there’s no road to the hotel, just a footpath. Disappointing overall.

This hotel is amazing quality and value compared to many others in ubud at a similar price. We have stayed at 5 different hotels in the area over time and this is far cleaner, more inviting and smarter than any of the others. We paid around £20 per night on a last minute deal. The hotel can’t be accessed by car but I left my wife with the bags at Alchemy (which is a great yoga / dining place) while I walked to the hotel. The guys immediately offered to come with scooters to collect our luggage. The room is smart with great quiet air conditioning and a lovely big shower. Kettle and fridge are useful. There’s a tv but we didn’t use it. The pool here is really lovely with 7 or 8 sun beds. I recommend hiring a scooter or using Gojek scooter taxis if staying here as it’s nicely out of the busy town centre. Either hiring or scooter taxis are both really cheap anyway and give you the peace from the chaos of town, with the flexibility to get in and out easily. Nice places to eat nearby. Will definitely use this place again when back in ubud.
