Ayodya Resort Bali

This room was booked for the kids. As I mentioned before, the rooms are a bit dated, but everything works. It was humid in the rooms upon check-in, but thankfully, there were dehumidifiers in every room! The cleaning was good, and the beds and pillows were comfortable. The staff who service the rooms are very attentive; they even gave my daughter a toy from the hotel when she got sick. Thank you! That was very sweet! The breakfasts were varied but not very tasty. The pools are good, and the beach is clean and sandy. A special thank you for allowing us to extend one of the rooms at check-out.

We had a great stay at this hotel! The room amenities aren't super modern, but the welcome was so amazing and the rest of the hotel is so incredible that you forget about the shower that works a bit poorly. I want to thank the staff who were truly superb throughout our stay. I wish I could have stayed longer!

The cleaning staff were all male. As you can see from the photo, my T-shirt, shorts, and underwear were moved from the bed to the nightstand against the wall, even though there was a note on the bed that clearly stated, 'Please don't make the bed. Thank you.' Why did they touch my clothes? Even if they didn't see the note, why would they roll up and touch my underwear? If it weren't for the fact that it cost over 200, I would have thrown it away – it felt so disgusting. I'm a bit of a germaphobe. Also, in picture 2, there's a needle. I was already washing three swimsuits and some clothes in my own basin, and when I went to wash the touched underwear, I found this needle. Were they trying to hide a needle in my underwear?! And about the Häagen-Dazs ice cream sold in the hotel lobby: why did they keep quoting me the price for one when I clearly bought two? This brand of ice cream is sold here, and they can't even calculate the price for two? Plus, on my last day, my room had a weird smell. After discussing it for 20 minutes, the front desk agreed to move me to an upgraded deluxe room. It was only then I realized it had a deadbolt. So, guests in standard rooms just don't get a sense of security? And standard rooms don't even have a hairdryer. If I had long hair, I would definitely complain. While eating ice cream that I bought from the open-air area in the lobby, a 5-year-old boy with curry-colored skin started shouting 'Chinese!' nearby. I turned to look at him, and he was making slanty-eye gestures. Then he said something to his mom like, 'Mum, Chinese.' I flipped him off, but he didn't see it. Anyway, I was in a really bad mood. I never expected to encounter something like this in such a relaxed setting, and his voice was so loud that all the tourists and staff nearby must have heard him. I felt completely humiliated. Also, a bunch of staff in the lobby lied to me about the shuttle bus schedule and then just ignored me. Their attitude was really bad. Oh, and one more thing: if you want to swim in pee, come here immediately.

Beautiful Balinese-style hotel right on the ocean. The rooms are clean, and housekeeping is regular. Breakfast is a delicious and varied buffet. The hotel grounds are green and well-maintained, with plenty of activities like a beach club, bikes, volleyball, yoga, and much more. It's an excellent hotel that makes you want to come back!

I highly recommend this hotel to everyone. The service is top-notch, the beach is excellent, and all the staff are very polite.

Hotel right on the ocean. The grounds are magnificent, and the staff are incredibly responsive. Any issues were resolved very quickly. Good breakfasts too.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The grounds feature a beautiful lagoon around which the hotel is built. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious, with lots of fruit. The rooms are quite tired (some even too tired), and the humidity in the room is high. The beach in this area is unique because, unlike other places, it's more comfortable at low tide, while at high tide there are big waves and, unfortunately, seaweed and trash. Entering the water at high tide is unpleasant and not always possible due to the waves. It's very strange that the beach is practically never cleaned, and they don't even clean the sun loungers area, which is why I'm lowering my rating.
