Gending Kedis Luxury Villas & Spa Estate Reviews

We recently stayed for two nights at Gending Kedis Luxury Villas and Spa in Jimbaran, Bali, and had a fantastic experience. We stayed in a two-bedroom villa with a private pool, and while the property is somewhat old, it’s evident that they are maintaining it very well. The villa provided a peaceful retreat, and the private pool was a highlight of our stay. The beds were incredibly comfortable, allowing us to get a good night's sleep. The breakfast was excellent, with a variety of options that catered to different tastes. The staff were amazing—special thanks to the front desk team, who were always helpful and attentive. There are, however, a few areas that could use some attention. The sofas, chairs, and cushions showed signs of wear and tear and could definitely benefit from being replaced. The towels also seemed a bit worn out and could use an upgrade. Despite these minor issues, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wished we could have extended it by another night. We will definitely be coming back in the future.

Super nice villa to stay woth families, love the bath tub👍🏻

Perfect honeymooners spot. So private, you got your own pool and its really spacey. Love the decoration. Breakfast was good, they have the traditional and western breakfast. Staff members are very friendly and polite. I actually got upgraded to 2 bedroom villa even though I’m staying but I will definitely come here again if I want to have an escape to nature. The master bedroom and pool facing directly to forest which make the ambience more natural.

Okay..staffs are trying their best. The villa are getting old and since it is considered as generous space in villa, maintaining it a challenge to them I reckoned. One night all villas were totally out of water (shower/tap/toilet etc), it was a tough night to go through

Great service from the staff, from the front desk to the wait staff in the restaurant. Breakfasts were good, but some of the room service items were not so great, so I wouldn’t eat anything there other than in the morning. The private pools are excellent and a really great amenity to have, and there’s a larger pool near the dining area which is fantastic as well. Be warned, the pool deck gets extremely hot due to the Balinese sun and dark paint colors on the deck. Overall a great stay, just wish that some of the food had been up to a higher standard.

Location close to the airport and near to the beach. Large room, well maintanance and really recomended for family gathering. Breakfast is good with friendly staff.

The best villa 🥰

I first saw this place upon listing and caught my eye. It did seem a little absurd such a low price for the quality, by looking at the photos. I booked somewhere else for my first night also in Jimbaran. The second day I couldn’t resist the urge to book this place, and I not one bit regret my decision. Location is very easy to find, close to the main road which has convenience stores. Which is rare in this area, previously I stayed at Le Meridian and there was not one place where i could find an iPhone charger within 7km. Entrance is classy and nice, reception enthusiastically helped me with luggage and check in. After the process taking me to my villa. It was a nice walk, felt like I was in fairytale, greenery refreshing and truly made me feel like I am experiencing the essence of Bali. “Traditional Bali style” he told me. My villa was steep down the hills, which were all the one bedroom villas. At first I wasn’t happy about where it is located and asked for a higher unit. But once upon entering the residence I was completely shook. It went above and beyond my expectations, truly. The place was sparkling clean and view outside made me smile from the inside out. Not to dramatically pipe up the place but I felt they way underpriced the daily rate! The privacy is without complaint, especially for someone like me which is important. You are in the jungle in a luxurious treehouse. How much better can life get. Private pool is refreshing, freeflow running water; clean and clear. Bedroom is downstairs, going in is the most romantic woodlock bed and unfortunately I’m single but would be the most perfect for couples. Bathroom is ethnic and delicate. Spacious and well designed with a giant bathtub. Bath and toilet are separated, thank god. The night of I had the best sleep in a long long time. If one thing I had to complain would be the wifi, which for someone who works online can be frustrating.

The hotel customer service is so selfish, bad, and money centred. As this was going to be my first travel experience in asia, they surely left a bitter taste in my mouth.

I was upgraded to a 2 bedroom villa, that was really nice and clean but you could notice that it has not been used for 2 years. The restaurant is currently closed, so you need to go out for food or order online. Overall it was a pleasant stay and the staff was really helpful.

Horrible

This hotel not deserve the 5 stars at all. When we arrive we Need to go down a long stair far away from the advertising pictures. From now one every day up and down. Our villa was in a dark valley with a lot of trees and a concrete wall right next to it. Not much sun comes there. The Villa itself is really old, much used and outdated. Most of the interior had scrape and scratch. Plaster was falling down from the walls. A scary painting of a woman with no eyes hangs in the kitchen wall. At the first night at our arrival the warm water not worked. There hootplate was broken too. It was fixed the next day. The king sized bed was really loud and noisy. You could hear every move. There not a single power plug at the bed. So you cannot charge the phone while beeing in bed. The freezer made a loud noise. Right next to the sleeping room there’s always a water noise when someone (in another villa of the resort?) use the bathroom. Our own toilet not well flashing. We want to leave earlier to another hotel and ask out booking agent if that’s possible with a refund for the rest of the week. The agent tried its best but the hotel itself refused. Beside from fixing the water and hootplate they not offered us anything for that. The personal was friendly.
