Desa Potato Head Bali
"Desa Potato Head enjoys a fantastic location in Seminyak, surrounded by great restaurants and just a short distance from the shopping district. We stayed in a Garden Suite, which was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully designed. The bathtub overlooking the lush garden was a particularly nice touch, creating a relaxing atmosphere after a day out. One of the highlights of our stay was the morning yoga session, a wonderful way to start the day. The resort also offers several swimming pools, allowing guests to choose between different settings depending on their mood. Combined with the vibrant beach club atmosphere and sustainability-focused concept, Desa Potato Head delivers a unique Bali experience. The property itself is a visual masterpiece, featuring striking architecture that blends contemporary design with Balinese influences. Every corner feels thoughtfully curated, making it a paradise for photography enthusiasts. From the iconic beachfront views and artistic installations to the beautifully designed walkways and pools, there are countless Instagram-worthy spots throughout the resort. The main drawback is the transportation arrangement. The hotel actively supports the local community and appears to encourage the use of local taxi services, as indicated by signage displayed in the lobby area. On its website, the policy is described as being due to local community regulations. As a result, app-based ride services such as Grab and Gojek are required to pick up guests at the end of the driveway on Jalan Petitenget rather than directly from the hotel lobby. As a savvy traveller who likes to compare prices before booking transportation, I found this arrangement somewhat inconvenient. While the hotel can readily arrange local taxis, their fares are generally less competitive than those offered by ride-hailing apps. Guests must either walk to the main road or request the hotel’s shuttle to the entrance on Jalan Petitenget, then locate a suitable pickup point to meet their driver. This can be inconvenient, particularly in hot weather, during rain, or when travelling with luggage. Overall, Desa Potato Head is an excellent choice for its location, facilities, wellness activities, unique architecture, and vibrant atmosphere. If the transportation arrangement is improved or a more convenient pickup point is provided, the guest experience would be even better."
Renaissance Bali Nusa Dua Resort
"We were just here 2 weeks ago for 1 day and night and had such a great time that we booked a longer stay this time. We had a blast with the spacious rooms, the buffet breakfasts, the gym, lounging pool side and a couple more restaurants. The staff are super friendly and helpful and everything ran so smoothly. We are looking forward to returning here again in the not too distant future!"

Vivara Bali Private Pool Villas & Spa Retreat
"I had an amazing stay at Vivara! The place is absolutely beautiful, with a modern and cozy design that made me feel relaxed right away. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and exactly as shown in the photos. The location is great—peaceful yet still convenient to get around. The staff/host were very friendly and responsive, always ready to help whenever needed. Overall, it was such a comfortable and enjoyable experience. I would highly recommend Vivara to anyone visiting Bali, and I would definitely love to stay here again!"
Lumbini Luxury Villas and Spa Bali
"The deluxe villa was adorable and ample for two with the private pool, spacious bathroom and nice big bed. Air conditioning was great in the room and was much required due to the hot bali weather. The villa grounds are well maintained and beautiful and has two separate common pools as well. Daily housekeeping is a plus. Many amenities are available along with in house spa centre. Buffet breakfast was good but somewhat repetitive in the type of food offered but was large in selections available, also the breakfast area has no air conditioning so that's a bit of disappointment. Cleanliness can be better in the sense of fixtures in the bathroom and soap holders or so look a bit rundown. Staff are friendly and welcoming as well as helping in nature. I will definitely visit again if i can. Thanks for a memorable experience!"
Wapa di Ume Sidemen
"Great relaxing hotel with 2 pools À la carte breakfast Large rooms but no tv"
Raffles Bali

Kinama Villa Jimbaran Bali
"exceed expectation near airport good location very spacious villa with reasonable price"
Fairfield by Marriott Bali Kuta Ngurah Rai
"All within reach. Many restaurants around and convenience stores."
Avisara Nusa Dua
"We initially stayed for a week, then extended our stay for another week. The place has a natural atmosphere, the rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, the environment is very peaceful, the staff is polite, friendly, and helpful, and the owner (Mr. and Mrs. Wayan) are very welcoming. I will definitely come back again"
Athaya Canggu Villas by Nagisa Bali
"The villa was very clean and tidy. The living room had a great design, and the kitchen was practical. The staff member was very friendly and helpful. My only initial issue was the difficulty in contacting them without WhatsApp. The pool is on the smaller side – it looks nice, but it's not really big enough for swimming. ***Important note for Google Maps users:*** Make sure to select 'Athaya Villa' and *not* 'Athaya Canggu'. These two locations are about a 10-minute drive apart. I made this mistake and ended up spending an extra 50k on a taxi. Overall, it offers good value for money for four people."
Fairfield by Marriott Bali Kuta Sunset Road
"The hotel location is right behind Lippomall. Because there are 4 Fairfield by Marriott around Kuta. Be careful to choose the point when u order online car. Love staying here, the room is clean, the house keeping clean our room in the morning, by 9.30 we already have a fresh room. Breakfast served on 1st floor with various choices. They event have an Indomie stall and mie tek tek, fried freshly for the guest. Swimming pool beautiful seen from my floor (6th floor) . The staffs all are very friendly and helpful. Keep up the good work!"
Mara River Safari Lodge Bali
"Great place for young kids to see animals up close! From our room, we spotted white rhinos, zebras, wildebeests, and giraffes — such a WOW moment. They even prepare a basket of the carrots in the room for feeding purpose! Staff were friendly and even surprised our younger boy with a birthday treat. Buggy service was super convenient (and fun 🤣). You can also feed the animals during the safari for an extra charge — a highlight for sure!"
Hiliwatu, Bali Ubud, a Tribute Portfolio Resort
"We had a wonderful stay at Hiliwatu Hotel with our two children. The hotel is absolutely stunning, with beautiful architecture and surroundings that make it feel truly special. The staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming throughout our stay. The rooms were spotless, beautifully designed, and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. The food was also excellent, with every meal being fresh and delicious. A few things worth noting for future guests: the hotel is quite remote and far from Ubud and most attractions, so be prepared for longer drives if you plan to explore the area. Families with young children should know that there is no dedicated kids’ club or regular children’s activity program. However, the hotel can arrange activities for children upon request, which is a nice option for families. Additionally, breakfast is served exclusively à la carte rather than as a buffet, which means service can sometimes take a little longer during busy periods. That said, these are only minor points. Overall, the hotel is truly amazing, and we had a fantastic stay. We would happily return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, luxurious, and beautiful retreat."
Bumi Kabins Ubud
"A stay in true Balinese nature, from the scenic drive to the breathtaking surroundings, every moment felt special. So lucky to have found this hidden gem. The food and massages were amazing, and the staff were incredibly attentive and kind throughout our stay. Definitely coming back."
The Royal Purnama Luxury Villas - Adults Only
"The service is amazing, everyone working there treats you like royalty. The perks are amazing, the daily afternoon tea is great, latte or tea with an assortment of delicious snacks, daily free breakfast is great too you get very filled up, free shuttle service to the beach/mall was convenient too. Nice relaxing ocean views at the resort too, great peaceful setting. Nice romantic dinners at night at the resort restaurant too with live music. Overall we really enjoyed our experience!"
