"Stayed in the family room for 13 nights with my husband, with breakfast included. Plenty of space to move around, Very clean. Great aircon 2 in the room. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast was very good plenty of options to choose from. Booked a standard room on last day due to late flight. It was a lot smaller only enough room to walk around the bed. Very clean and cosy if your only there to sleep. Water pressure is great. Only downside theres no pool. At $36 a night for family room and $19 a night for standard and $4.50 for breakfast its a fantastic budget option. Will probably stay again. 15mins walk to kuta beach, 10mins to Legion, 15mins walk to Trans studio was great."

"Having to make an unexpected trip at short notice due to business issues, my regular Bali Hotel was booked out, so based on the positive reviews I booked what has turned out to be my first and last stay at Kuta Beach Club ( KBC ) The only things KBC have going for it are the central location and the lack of traffic noise due to the property being set way back from the road. Restaurant food, taste and price, OKish ( and you must enjoy eating your dinner accompanied by the sound of pool table balls smashing each other and the ongoing pool table banter ) Restaurant service : if you're lucky! Breakfast buffet selection: reasonable. I made my first of many trips to Bali in 2013. I have stayed in 7 Hotels in the Kuta/Legian area and the KBC is the first place I have been asked to give my Room # name AND signature to get access to a pool towel. The only reason you would have this system in place is because there was a problem with towels going missing. That tells you all you need to know about the clientele at the KBC. My advice, avoid!!"

"The hotel corridors are incredibly long; it felt like forever to reach my room. The hotel is conveniently located within a mall, with a supermarket downstairs for groceries. I was assigned a connecting room, and the guests next door were playing loud music at 12 AM. I could hear it perfectly from my room and even the hallway. I strongly advise against connecting rooms with strangers, as the doors have gaps that let sound pass through, and you can even see into the next room through the cracks. However, the hotel staff were excellent; they were willing, prompt, and proactive in resolving the issue."

I didn’t have any cash in rupiah, so I offered to pay in dollars, but he refused. He then tried to take my ID as proof and hold onto it. I said no and offered my driver’s licence instead, but he refused again, saying it was expired. I even offered to transfer the money using BCA banking, and he still refused. So I had to look for the nearest ATM at 11 PM, almost midnight?! In the end, he took my driver’s licence with an annoying expression on his face."
