The pool & surrounding area is great. The rooms are big & the beds are comfortable. The staff are lovely & will help you out as much as they can, even offering to shuttle us down to the village because it was raining. The breakfast is a mix of Asian & continental, additional meals are good value for money (the Nasi Goreng is huge). Nice relaxing area upstairs with TV with music channels & a bar (open when there's enough guests). The name BackPacker really doesn't suit this hotel, & in fact probably puts people off. Don't let it, it's perfect for families, couples & groups but there is one room with bunks for backpackers if they want to come here. We knew before we booked but the village is a 10min walk down an unlit road with no pavement.

Such a beautiful place! I felt so comfortable and wish I could have stayed longer. The staff is lovely and super helpful - thanks again to Windu for helping me super spontaneously with transportation issues. They also serve delicious food. The area is quite untouristy, so if you want a break from busy Bali, enjoy beautiful views and, ricefields and a village with very friendly locals. Don't expect luxurious bathrooms. But everything needed is there and works fine.

Candidasa
I've eaten in this restaurant on multiple occasions and have never been disappointed. The food is absolutley excellent - fresh, homemade, tasty. There's a great selection on the menu and you have many options for western dishes, but also, great local Indonesian food . Try the Beef Rendang or Chicken Curry. Both are superb. There are also some really great snacks if you're a bit peckish and don't want a full meal. The Fish Satays are delicious, as are the Spring rolls. Staff are always great here and the wifi is fast. Everything you need in a great restaurant and far better priced than most places in town. I'd say one of the best places in Candidasa for a well priced, good value meal. Well worth a visit.
Natya River Sidemen

Really amazing place. Wild close to a river. Bali (wild) country side pure. Infrastructure well maintained and at an excellent level for a glamping place. Staff friendly and helpful. Local food pretty good too. All for a very modest price. Yet..there is a big BUT..its definitely lacking a concept. It was the case in 2022 and still now. Since it cant be that (sorry) mainly locals (my partner is from Bali) do book evenings for very loud karaoke events. Staff also is keeping the music in the evening extremly loud. During the day you have school classes having big fun in the pool. As paying guest well you leave the place right away since even so we love kids..yet it gets obviously very loud. (Loud) construction is ongoing also for local house” which will be used apparently as planned for the weekend big DJ music sessions..a little info and sorry about the even at night ongoing construction would have been appreciated.. So glamping is for at least our understanding about enjoying nature, eventually local (healthy) food and why not yoga classes or as planned too local cooking classes. Natya river could have that all in a unique way. (Unfortunatelly) as currently the case its a big mainly kind of amusement park until partly late at night...yet if continued like that then we predict it will never really work well especially during the week. Also it will hardly be appreciated by foreigners and many locals neither who all seek rather the first aspects than loud music, screaming day visitors etc. which you can get in Canggu etc. So we strongly recommend implicating our greatest admiration for natya river (and its truth potential) that (finally) the management and owner family rethink and set a smart positioning for this precious place. Yet to be rather frank if it stays as currently the case we wont be able to recommend a (glamping) stay.

Amed
The location is close to Pantai Jemeluk Port (Gili T-Ahmed) and convenient to use shuttle buses to other areas on land Service is directly operated by the owner and very friendly (Motorcycle rental is available at the hostel and you can enjoy various marine leisure sports such as 1-day tour application and fishing) The accommodation is clean and the facilities are satisfactory for the price If you come to Ahmed next time, you plan to reuse it.
