Ubud
The room was comfortable and clean. Front desk was extremely helpful. We arrived after 1:00 in the morning due to flight delays and had no trouble checking in despite the time. The location isn't quite what I expected. Traffic is very congested so even though it's technically not so far from all the beaches, it can still take a while.

Ubud
It was a very good hotel in the center of Ubud. Starbucks and Lotus cafes are located near the hotel entrance, and there are convenience stores and massage shops in front of you. Very convenient hotel.

The location is near Ubud and the transportation is very convenient. There are restaurants and convenience stores downstairs. Residents are simple, each room faces the pool, and breakfast in the courtyard is great! Quiet in the middle of the trouble, the first choice for a leisurely vacation!
Samhita Garden Ubud

stayed at Samhita September 2023 for 5 nights. had a lovely two floor unit near the pool. By day this is a wonderful peaceful place to stay. Great staff and fabulous gardens. By night when the music starts in the bar opposite its another story. To us, it is exactly what Ubud does not need in that location. Sort of lowers the whole experience and in our opinion, should never have been allowed to happen where it is. The location of Samhita is great, plenty of places to eat/drink and a good mini mart opposite for drinks and snacks. If we ever came back to Ubud, which this time we found quite different from years previous, we would definately book a room at the rear of the property. Even then the music is there but not as loud as at the front of the place. Breakfast is OK but basic which is fine. The cleanliness was good with bottled water provided each day. Pool could have been cleaner with algae growing in the deeper end. I think the live music is not going to be good long term for all the places around the bar, including Samhita. A real shame as it has everything that you need nearby. Thanks again but we will be giving it a lot of thought before we return.
Meruhdani Boutique Hotel Ubud

Ubud
We stayed for 6 nights as we used Ubud as a hub to explore the northern part of the island. The hotel is in a prime location for restaurants and bars in Ubud. Room was spacious and clean with the usual amenities you’d expect (hairdryer, toiletries, tea and coffee etc) The staff were very accommodating and you could organise services such as scooter hire, laundry and excursions through the hotel if you wish. Breakfast is a short walk from reception (less than 50m) which was tasty with a good variety of choice. Would definitely recommend and return
