Angsoka Bungalow

Ubud Bali|0.34km from Paon Bali Cooking Class
Outstanding surroundings in pure nature- very much in the jungle, so quite an authentic experience. Beautiful rooms and ours was very private with a lovely private terrace. Pool area is stunning with jungle infinity pool. Unbelievable service - warm, friendly and very attentive. What a lovely family. Brother Putu couldn’t do enough for us and organised his friend to be our driver for the day and the chap was fantastic (His name is Wyan) He took us to multiple places for a set fare for 5 hours but as we wanted to see more he stayed on an extra 2 without question and didn’t ask for more money (unbelievable kindness) and seemed shocked when we offered him more. Putu’s sisiter is the loveliest person with the warmest smile. The breakfast is very good - excellent strong Bali coffee (quite muddy towards the end) but they happily gave me a little jug of hot water each time. The banana pancakes are out of this world and a must. Some things that would improve the experience - the room was beautiful but did have a strong smell of damp throughout ( it is in the jungle ) some incense throughout the room and bathroom would have helped. There is no facilities for snacks or drinks in the evening. Putu is always there so a little honesty bar with a fridge of cold drinks and snacks would be a great idea. We arrived very hungry and couldn’t get any food. It’s out the way of the centre or any goings on but it really doesn’t matter if you have a driver. If you arrive late at night, make sure you eat before you get there.

Donal is the owner and a really nice and friendly guy. Helping you to find good places for your trip, where to grab some traditinal food and telling you facts about balinese culture. We loved to stay there. You can simply contact him for questions on whatsapp. His family and staff members are always around and ready to give you a hand if necessary. Grab a scooter, go to the city takes 8 minutes - easy going. We had a nice and simple double room. It was clean with seats in front of the room on the balcony. Thanks Donald to welcome us in Bali! All the best to you and your family. Stay awesome 😊

Me and some friends of mine booked the biggest villa and it was amazing! The staff is really friendly and helpful. We had a little tour, their dinner set up + food was awesome. I love their BBQ! They also offered us an authentic local cuisines for lunch. Duadari is really a perfect place for anyone who want to escape and get a full experience of Balinese vibes.

We had a great stay! The staff were super gentle, the hotel owner, Adi, was super hospitality and welcoming, loved children and was super patient in answering questions and teaching about the balina culture. She was always ready to get us a driver for our expensive trips cheaper than the outdoor packages. She helped us to buy a birthday cake from one of the children. If I had to make some constructive criticism: 1. The morning coffee panqueques could be less sweet. 2. The rooms could have a more balinish architecture and decoration style, pq they made the common areas and the perfectly built gardens, but the rooms are built and decorated in contemporary western style. 3. The access to the hotel by a very small street makes it difficult and scares some taxi drivers, but nothing that once you know where it is becomes a sparkling. There is a need to climb stairs, but most of the places in Bali are not accessible to people with wheelchairs.

Our stay at Villa Sabandari in Ubud was nothing short of magical. Nestled amidst the mush, tropical gardens, this tranquil oasis effortlessly blends modern luxury with authentic Balinese charm. The impeccably designed rooms offer a serene escape, complete with amazing views of the nearby rice terraces. The staffs warmth and attention to detail made us feel like cherished guests, not mere visitors. Dont miss out on sipping on one if the signature cocktails next to the infinity pool with its beautiful view. This place is a true masterpiece, ensuring an unforgettable stay in the heart if Ubud. Thank you to our host Dirk and the entire full staff. We cant wait to return!!
