Alaya Dedaun Kuta

Kuta Bali|0.47km from Sari Club Memorial
My husband and I had the pleasure of staying one night at Alaya Dedaun Kuta, and wish we’d stayed longer. The location is great, right in the thick of everything with endless restaurants, bars, convenience stores and shopping, but also somehow a peaceful oasis when you set foot on the property. Check in was lovely, and even though we encountered some technical issues with payment, the check in proceeded and we cleared up payment without issue the following day when a team member more experienced with the eftpos machine could process the transaction. The property is lovely with beautiful gardens and very private villas. Our villa was bigger than our apartment in Sydney, with a huge and beautifully designed bedroom and living area overlooking a lush garden and pool, and a ridiculously huge bathroom. Welcome tea was brought to our room with our bags, and it was lovely to sip on our iced tea whilst we relaxed by the pool. The bed is very comfortable and we slept peacefully. The bathroom had plenty of towels, with great water pressure. We enjoyed one Indonesian breakfast and one Japanese breakfast the following morning, and were genuinely surprised at how delicious everything was. Before breakfast was served we received a quiet knock on our front door to see if the breakfast could be set up outside. This was a welcome touch, as we had the opportunity to close our curtains and get dressed, whilst breakfast was set up outside. It was such a lovely start to the morning, to enjoy our breakfast outside whilst we watched the trees sway and the pool water ripple. Unfortunately we had to check out after breakfast, and were kicking ourselves that we didn’t stay longer to enjoy our pool properly, and a spa treatment onsite at the acclaimed DaLa Spa. I would highly recommend staying at Alaya Dedaun Kuta, and hope that you can stay longer than we did!

We noticed that there were mostly only bad reviews on this place on TripAdvisor and other platforms but decided to give it a go anyways due to its location. When we arrived we had to fill out a form that asked for our full name, DOB, home address in Australia, our passport number and which hotel we were going to after this one. It was a little too much information to give for me... When we got to our room we were given a room with 2 single beds not the large double bed that we had booked. We also sent an email after booking to confirm we could have a double bed. When we told the staff member he said that there are no other rooms available. We showed him the email and again he just said “sorry this is all we have, try again tomorrow” we asked the next day but again was told that that’s all that there is. The bed sheets were stained and we were given 2 towels and 1 roll of toilet paper for our 3 day stay. There were no hand towels to dry our hands and no bath/shower mat either so the floor was ALWAYS soaking and a real slipping hazard. The rooms were also never cleaned or offered to be cleaned so we had to call to get a new roll of toilet paper and new towels everyday (as ours didn’t dry and the clothing rack provided was extremely rusty and dirty - leaving black coloured marks all over our clothing) We also noticed the word “toxic” written on the shower screen?! 🙄 When we went to check our and pay, the receptionist said that he had no change to give us so we had to go and find smaller notes to give him... The only good thing about this place was the pool and even then there are only 4 sun beds so if you don’t get down to the pool before 8am you won’t have anywhere to sit...

Fantastic we have nothing bad to stay and will definitely book here again on our next visit to Bali. The staff are so friendly and always smiling and very helpful. Walking in the foyer it’s fresh and very tropical the fish pond/ fountain is a real feature. The security are so helpful and stop traffic to help you cross the road out front. Even though it’s right near the nightlife of Kuta in the room it’s silent can not hear anything. Breakfast is nice and a good selection of western and Indonesian food. It’s really nice sitting on the roof top overlooking Bali and beautiful at night with the lights and watching fireworks on the beach. Sunsets from the roof top pool were amazing. Our room was comfy and shower was large and great hot water. Having the cafe downstairs and being able to sit and enjoy a coffee and pastry for 50k was great. Great location, Great Staff, can’t wait to return.

The Neo + hotel Is located down a side alley right near the Bali memorial. The hotel is a rectangular shape with the majority of the rooms looking over the centre of the Courtyard. This is a mid range hotel and the rooms are a reasonable size and there is a bed, a safe, a bar fridge, tea & coffee making facilities, and a midsized lcd TV which is a little outdated. There's a convenience to just across the street and it's within easy walking distance of numerous restaurants' hotels and night life. The location is good and because it's set rock down an alley it's quiet at night, and I would have no problem staying here again

The location of this hotel is not bad, the street is very lively: restaurants, banks, small supermarkets, massage parlors... 20 minutes walk to Kuta Beach, the road is very narrow, there are many cars, so be careful when crossing the road with motorcycles all over the street; hotel The network is very poor, I hardly use their network; the water in the toilet keeps flowing, and the ventilation is loud; (I changed the room once because of the network problem, the running water, noise, and no network are the same; the hotel's swimming pool is not bad, Every day, people gather in the water to eat and chat; the hotel has to add 21% service charge, which is more expensive than the street. The price of this hotel fluctuates greatly. I booked 232 yuan per night, and it became 184 yuan a day later. It became 174 yuan in three days, and now it has risen to more than 300. I asked their person in charge, and said that the price has never been changed except for the normal price on weekends. It seems to be Ctrip’s business strategy😄

Everything great! Good price for a great location ! The service always helpful. The swimming pool ❤ 5 minutes walk to the main street for night life and less than 10 minutes walk to Kuta Beach

It seems that there is a problem with soundproofing as if the sound from above is heard from the side. I called Grab Taxi and used it well. I hope the breakfast is improved.. There is no such thing as cereal, bread, or milk..
