Luxe Villas Bali

Ubud Bali|0.54km from Temple of the Meeting of the Three (Pura Samuan Tiga)
If you are on the fence about whether or not to splurge on LUXE Villas Bali, the answer is YES. Yes, you should splurge and stay here. I have stayed at some boutique luxury villas in Thailand (Amphawa, Khao Yai) and also several J.W. Marriotts (Hua Hin, Phuket). They can't hold a candle to LUXE Villas because the service here is exceptional and unparalleled! The staff is so kind and friendly. They know your name and remember you throughout your stay. The front desk is open 7 AM - 11 PM but they have 24 hr service via the WhatsApp concierge number, so I was able to talk to them in the USA to arrange the car before flying to Indonesia. Anything you could want, they can help you book it - private yoga, private massage, activities, car service, etc. We booked two excursions with outside companies; the LUXE concierge asked for the phone number of the company and from there, LUXE arranged the pick-ups for our excursions. For our early morning excursions Luxe either arranged a breakfast box, or they were able to take our breakfast orders the night before and serve us breakfast at 7:30/8. We met the owner, Paul, and he was also helpful in recommending places in town for us to visit. I asked him about the hotel - he and his wife built it from 2010 - 2014, and did ecological consultation to ensure everything is eco-friendly, including the filtration system, as you can drink from the tap. This is another reason why I chose to book this stay. The hotel is tucked away between picturesque rice paddies. It is located on a motorcycle-only road, but they have bikes to bring your suitcases. I saw families with young children (3 yo) stay at LUXE Villas, and the motorcycle drivers are very gentle when driving so don't worry if you've never ridden one before or have children. For each day you stay, they have a shopfront in town called Luxe Lounge, open from 1 pm - 9 pm. You can drop your shopping bags there to be taken back, or go there when you need to call a ride back to the hotel. If you return after 9 pm, just message the concierge on WhatsApp. The dining service (the Grill @ LUXE) was exceptional. I should write a whole post about the restaurant alone but our best meals in Ubud were here. The truffle mash was to die for! The cost is comparable to an upscale dinner in America but the food quality and service are much, much better. On the booking, I noted that it was our honeymoon and when we arrived we were greeted with a beautiful honeymoon flower welcome sign. They brought us straight to our room and gave us welcome drinks (cucumber refresher) while showing us the suite amenities. The suites are stylish and high-quality in furnishings and fixtures. Only once we finished the tour did they have us sign for check-in (I signed inside the room, not at the check-in desk), and they brought our suitcases up for us. In the evenings when we were in town, they turned down the bed for us and left chocolates on the bedside tables. There was a definite advantag

The hotel is very nice and the rooms are well appointed with a work area, comfy chair and some balcony furniture. The bathroom has a window which overlooks the bed and the balcony but there is a blind you can pull down. The bed was very comfy and so were the pillows. There isn't much sound proofing and we were near the lobby and restaurant so we heard a lot of noise in the morning when we tried to sleep in but from 10 pm to 6 am there wasn't much noise thankfully. The resort is kind of a small wellness and they have some activities like ping pong, a levelled pool area, suction cup archery, badminton and coconut bowling. The breakfast restaurant was quite good and offered a good variety of Asian, western and vegetarian options. I was excited to see and try snake fruit for the first time and was able to find something to enjoy each day. Eggs and soup are made to order but each station took a little bit of time to get our orders out each time. The dal curry was a highlight and they had a good rice dish each day as well. We also tried the pool bar and it was great for an afternoon snack and cocktail after a full day being in Ubud. The hotel location isn't the best and we were there during a busy couple of days for ceremonies and tourists which made getting in and out of the hotel area very hard. It took us 2 hours to get to the airport from here and we spent a lot of time stuck in traffic instead of sightseeing due to congestion. A restaurant which would normally be a 15 minute drive took us 40 minutes to get to. The hotel is about a half an hour walk to Ubud Centre but they offer a scheduled shuttle service to Ubud Centre and the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary but you have to book at reception and there's only 10 seats per shuttle. We found we couldn't get as much done as we wanted to in Bali due to the congestion in Ubud as it took a considerable amount of time for drivers to get to us and we weren't comfortable with driving a scooter with so much traffic. The hotel did offer bicycles but the infrastructure is not that good around the hotel for walkers let alone bicyclists. The service was prompt at the hotel. We had a late but efficient check in and they offered us coupons for their laundry service and massage. We ran out of water but they would bring us as many as we wanted any time of day which was super nice. They offered to bring our luggage to the room and stored it while we are breakfast prior to an early pickup.

stayed here for three nights in june.it is basically a quiet place.there is a local residential house nearby.sometimes you will hear voice from that house, but you hear nothing in the room.facilities here basic,a fridge, can keep your drinks cool.a nice pool, let you cool down in a hot day.beside the pool, there are two sunbeds.a place for eating,a bathtub inside the bathroom.a TV though mostly local channels.for me,it is quite ok.you will feel you are a yogi staying here, cuz it is a secluded villa, far from busy ubud center. though far from ubud center, still can walk to the center, or you can call gojek or grab, especially if you a solo traveller. never tried thier breakfast, cuz on the first day i asked for it, unfortunetely, the next day is Galungan holiday, they cant prepare for me.a staff suggested me to have breakfast at pubas cafe, that is the nearest one. so i had breakfast there twice.the price for one night stay is reasonable, if you want to stay at a villa with private pool at affordable price, then yoga ubud is the best choice.

The price is super high, an unexpected experience. We stayed for two nights. The service was very good. The swimming pool was almost contracted. It was close to the Royal Palace. It was convenient on the road and quiet.

What a fantastic experience! The hotel is super beautiful, has views of the rice fields and is close to the center of Ubud. I received a warm welcome from Devi, the receptionist. The rooms have just got a restyling and are very beautiful. The bed is super comfortable, I had a spacious bathroom and view of the pool. The cook makes a delicious and healthy food. Because I also work during the trip, it is important for me that I have a good job. I could work very well in the restaurant and the WiFi is super fast. The staff is very attentive, I felt home immediately. All overall I had a lot of good time here, 10/10 would recommend!

Had a very comfortable stay! Very clean room and toilet. Love that the room doesn't look old, design is pretty modern. Breakfast spread for buffet is decent. Quite abit of walk (around 20+ mins) to the central of Ubud but for this price, I would definitely stay again. Good service of staffs. Recommended. Thank you for the free upgrade!

Clean, spacious room for a funny price is what we conquered this place! A large room with a beautiful balcony-veranda and a cozy kitchen on it where you could relax in the evening, Wi-Fi worked well, the bathroom was very comfortable. We stayed in Ubuda for only 2 days, but we assessed the convenience of the location of this place. The only minus is breakfast, but for such a cost of accommodation we did not hope for the best and we were not absolutely embarrassed!!! Comfortably, near the center, quiet and beautiful!
