Avani Seminyak Bali Resort

The Avani brand is trusted in Southeast Asia. Neither the hotel nor the resort has ever disappointed. The same was true in Bali. The brand value was maintained in terms of cleanliness and many other aspects. It is very spacious, so it is recommended to stay for two nights or more. The laundry room is also free.

The main reason for booking this villa is its large garden. The lawn and swimming pool are very suitable for children to play. Advantages: large lawn, swimming pool, hot water for bathing, butler is very friendly and considerate. Disadvantages: The location is slightly biased. It takes a lot of roads to reach the main street where restaurants and shops gather. There are other villas across the wall. The sound insulation is not good. The open-plan living room is super hot. There are many mosquitoes. There are many geckos on the wall. I ran on the beam of the room. In the three bedrooms, there was only a small TV in the master bedroom. The old man was too boring in the hotel. The air conditioner in the bedroom downstairs was too old and not cold for a long time. There was also a problem with the price when booking. Fortunately, Ctrip solved it perfectly. This is to be commended! No, I book here every time I travel. But it also learns lessons, and still has to do enough homework in the future, otherwise it will be dumb.

It was a comfortable stay except for the fact that the housekeepers were too noisy teasing, laughing, shouting from one end of the corridor to the other, oblivious to the guests trying to get some rest. If you prefer a quiet place to stay, this may not be for you as something is terribly wrong with the acoustics in a way that the noise from the corridor is being amplified. The location is average, about 10-15mins walk to the beach. The surrounding bars, massage, and restaurants feel a bit lonely. Breakfast is good enough. My only gripe is that it takes a long time for the tables to be cleared, some even left unwiped. The service, overall, is great. The reception staffs are attentive and courteous, just that the housekeepers need a bit of training to keep the noise down. There were very few travelers when I stayed in this hotel. I think this hotel is more apt for conferences (there were 2 conferences held during my stay). I so wanted to like this hotel but eventually decided not to. It's still a good choice, but maybe next time I'll stay in another one.

The room is old, the living room is open, no air conditioning is particularly hot, and it can only stay in the bedroom during the day. The location is convenient. The butler sees the birthday of the mother’s passport and prepares the cake for us.

Fantastic swimming pool and rooms. Super clean. Very nice food as well. Just one comment is not understanding why staff took my family photo check-in and out time.

This hotel is the worst hotel in that area. What they promise online is all lies. We booked 4 pool view rooms in the hotel and sadly we booked non refundable rooms which is the biggest mistake anyone can do. Considering the climate of Bali, what we really expected was atleast functional AC. We checked in at 4pm and still the rooms were not ready. When we entered the rooms, they were smelling of drainage. When we mentioned it to the reception, he came and sprayed insect repellant instead of room freshner. Then we switched on the AC and it was not cooling at all. The reception person said to wait for 1 hr for the room to cool down. The rooms are so small that it shld cool down in 15 mins if the AC is functional. We wasted 2 hrs waiting for the room to cool down yet of no use. After 2 hrs, the reception person said that they will get it fixed next day morning and asked us to adjust in a downgraded room and we obliged. There were no basic toiletries as well and the towels were so old and dirty that you would think 100 times before using it. The different allotted rooms also had non functional AC and we survived somehow one night. The reception person despite knowing that they are fault pretended like nothing wrong is happening. Next day morning their technical person also failed to fix the ACs and still the receptionist stood still saying that ” you Indians feel very hot”. It was a very racist comment. We had kids with us and senior citizen and we were in so much distress. Because of the hotel mismanagement and lack of customer service we wasted two days just trying to settle down.We were then again offered to move to another room and we declined coz we were already traumatized. The reception person wrote in a paper and put a seal that they will refund is the money for the rest of the days. But post out checkout, they firstly allotted the rooms that we had booked to someone else plus did only partial refund after so much argument. Horrible experience. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Worst customer service, racist and very unempathetic. There are many nice hotels in the vicinity, please choose that even if u have to spend a little extra as this hotel is not worth it at all. Disgusted!
