Balmoral Arms ★★★★★
"Balmoral Arms offered a pleasant stay. Parking options included available street spaces or a free public carpark located just a two-minute walk away. Note that guests must carry luggage up the stairs, as there is no elevator, but the overall experience remained comfortable and enjoyable."
Hilton Grand Vacations Club Craigendarroch Suites Royal Deeside ★★★★
"Fantastic hotel ,great food."
A charming cottage in the heart of Ballater, with a beautiful & modern interior ★★★★
Cambus O' May Traditional Highland Hotel ★★★
"Great location, just a short walk from the Cambus O'May footbridge over the Dee, and the Deeside Way trail on the old railway. I arrived late and had just a good cheese board and a fine pint of Belhaven Best. I had a lovely, cozy single room (although having to enter a code rather than use a key was a bit strange) with a good view, comfy bed and a wonderful rain shower (once I worked out how the taps worked!) Breakfast was continental, with a wide choice of breads, cereals, juices and some fresh fruit. There was a coffee machine that worked very well. ...and a red squirrel jumped across the gravel outside the window while I ate!"
Antlers Cottage ★★★★
Fabulous house with sun-doors and patio - Large mature garden. Mountain views. ★★★★
Invercauld Lodges ★★★★
"We stayed Friday 25th till Tuesday 29th in the Balmoral lodge. This isn’t 5* luxury but it is very comfortable, clean and has all you’d want for a short stay. The bedding is clean, pillows and duvets cozy and warm. The kitchen is well stocked with appliances, cutlery and all you’d need for self catering break. The owner made us feel so welcome without being too intrusive. There are plenty of bins for recycling, parking was ample and I never felt that we were looking into the other lodges. The area is so quiet and peaceful within easy access to the town and wider area. Red squirrels play in the trees and jackdaws keep a watchful eye for any scraps! We stayed just outside the school holidays which probably helped keep things quiet. We will defo be back as it’s just the kind of restful, peaceful break we needed. Thanks!"
Glenernan Self Catering Cottages ★★★
Fabulous Sunny House in Large Private Gardens. Sun Porch & Patio. Mountain Views ★★★
