We stayed here while attending a family wedding in Ballina. We checked in early and this seemed to upset the rude Polish receptionist. She was stressed out checking in a couple of people I wouldn't like to see her if she was busy. She has a bad manner for customer service We wanted to get a drink but there was no one in the bar.A few waiting staff were hanging around but wouldn't serve us for ages. Shocking staff here. Unprofessional, could not care less attitude. Won't be back

Brought my mother in law here for mothers day food was lovely I must say,we all left with full bellies. Went to the bar after for a drink but was told I'd have to go back to the restaurant and order there that the lad in the bar couldn't serve us as no float in the bar till. In what world does that make sense might be something to look into,we just left and watched the match I town instead, also the Pakistani waiter seemed to just want to be seen in my opinion the lad and girl in the restaurant were doing everything. Bad management on the day but if the food us anything to go by the hotel should do well. Was great value for money

We were in the hotel on Fridsy night. The food we ordered took ages to come out of the kitchen when it did it was cold tasteless and it didn't seem fit to serve. Next day I was very sick. It was worst meal i ever ate. no manager to complain to. Refugee kids running around the halls making a load of noise. Not suitable for families here. Please don't bring small kids, not safe

Had a lovely weekend stay in a family room at the Twin Trees. The receptionist was extremely friendly and helpful and he gave us some great recommendations for places to visit in the area. Enniscrone beach is fab and there are some great lakes for fishing in the area. The rooms are clean and comfortable and breakfast was very tasty.

I have just spent 3 nights at the Twin Trees hotel and it has been the most unpleasant experience I have ever had. The hotel has taken in families seeking International Protection and currently only has 35 bedrooms available for residents (we were not told this in booking). Unfortunately this has created an extremely unpleasant environment in the hotel - security are regularly visible in the doors and inside, but not when you need them. There is a local picket/protest that has been set up at the hotel entrance and last night a fight broke out between residents and the protestors at 3am. No security to be seen of course. Men in balaclavas, waving flags, threatening women - this hotel is NOT SAFE for families so please move your booking elsewhere. On the first night, there were people shouting in the car park from 11-2am (I’m assuming they were the people requiring “protection”. There was also a woman ejected from the hotel and Gardai were called to remove her. You could not make this up if you tried - I have not had much sleep as you can imagine as the shouting went on for hours. This place is an utter nightmare until the Protest and Resident situation is changed so please book somewhere else until that is resolved. There is absolutely no consideration for residents here.
