Zuider Zee Guest House
"Beautiful views from the deck, had everything that one needed and situated in a quiet cul-de-sac but only minutes away from the beach, restaurants and shopping centres. Very safe area, friendly and helpful host, one of the very best places I've ever stayed in around the world."
Canelands Beach Club
"Hosted my husband’s 40th birthday oh my … it was an event of the year. The views of the sea from the balcony,,, breathtaking! This place is amazing… the staff went all out to execute the weekend to our liking and beyond… it was smooth and first class all the way."
The Capital Zimbali
"I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Capital Zimbali, and it was a fantastic experience. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, with all the amenities I needed for a relaxing stay. The staff was incredibly friendly and went out of their way to ensure I had everything I needed. The location is perfect, with easy access to nearby attractions. The breakfast was delicious, offering a great variety of options. Overall, I highly recommend The Capital Zimbali and would definitely stay here again."
Salt Rock Manor
Hampshire Hotel - Ballito
"When we checked in the room had a terrible musky smell. It seemed to of been water damaged and not properly dried up and cleaned thereafter. We complained to the front desk and were sent to another room with the exact same issue. We complained again and were then sent to a third room but the furniture had water damage, the shower silicone grouting had mould and the toilet didn’t fill up after flushing. Eventually the manager came to us and apologised and arranged for a fourth room which was much better than the first three. One of the nights other guests were drinking and partying till the morning, slamming doors and screaming. The restaurant and bar were extremely quiet and looked extremely dull. The hotel seemed extremely quiet for peak season in an holiday town and now I understand why."
First Group la Montagne
"The hotel has a large balcony, but the balcony is connected to the next door, so you must close the doors and windows at night. The hotel does not have a hair dryer. The hotel is very old. It is a renovation of an old house. It has its own swimming pool and beach, but I don’t know how to get down to the beach."
The Saffron House
"A very short stay because of our early flight the next day. A shame, would have loved to stay a little longer. The guesthouse is very nice and the rooms are very good. The owner was very helpfull and friendly, absolutely made our short stay very pleasant. Made a take away breakfast for us and got up at 3.30 in the morning to give it to us. Just perfect."

"Jackie , the owner, and her team are wonderful. We felt like coming home and being part of a family. Beautiful location, very nice decorated rooms with a view, 2 wonderful cats, just a perfect and very relaxing stay"
Zimbali Lodge by Dream Resorts
"I don't know why this accommodation gets such poor reviews. It's unique. Large, well equipped with everything you need. Great views from large balconies. The lodge itself is great, fab swimming pool, food good and the staff could not be more helpful, accommodating and generally just lovelly. Nothing is too much trouble. Just 2 points I would like to bring up. Firstly unless you have a car you have to rely on Uber. We didn't have to wait long but others have. Secondly, the pool area is fab but just 3 children screaming can spoil everything. I'm all for children enjoying themselves but their parents are quaffing cocktails while their kids are shattering ear drums. I guess it is what it is. The bottom line is that it's a great place and I've yet to experience unhelpful staff. On the contrary."
Petite Provence B&B
"Beautiful Place, can recommend to anyone, we had a great stay, the ONLY problem was the WiFi connection. I had a meeting the Friday I arrived and I had to reschedule it due to the network problem, WiFi didn’t due to connectivity. But either than that, I will be definitely coming back. "
Sala Beach House
"I would highly recommend this place. the views are spectacular. we stayed in an ocean view room which was just perfect. enjoyed sipping a coffee on the balcony, probably the best shower. The room was very comfortable, the food was outstanding they made special efforts with our dietary requirements. Staff were just amazing , and friendly. lovely stretch of beach to take a walk and loved the swim in the tidal pool. saw dolphins passing . overall a fantastic stay. and loved sitting in the lounge area as well as the dinning areas were great. if I had to fault anything it would be very minor the inconsistency of replacing amenities in the bathroom. other than that everything was just perfect . would love to go back"
