Beautiful rooms, delicious food.. breakfast and dinner in Conall Cearnach and Summit bar in golf club. Friendly staff.. wonderful Christmas break.

The golf resort we stopped at on our last trip to Ireland.
If the weather had been nice, we would have finished with a last round of golf, but unfortunately it rained.
However, the staff were so kind and the atmosphere was so good that it more than made up for it.
Dinner.. The meal at the classic course restaurant was great value for money. My husband and I, who drove a long way, leisurely emptied a bottle of wine.. Guinness at the live music bar..
The Irish people are so kind.. If the ending is good, everything is good~~😁

Avoid the Restaurant Summit. Large party of 10 food was awful. Also breakfast was not great either dry and lacking taste, seems to be common here with the restaurants not good food. Its a shame as hotel beautiful.

Just back from a stay at the Slieve russell Hotel. Myself and 3 kids had a great time. Kids loved the bulk beds room was very clean with a large ensuite the only negative was a cooler/fridge in the room it was so noisy. Ate at main restaurant could not fault the food or service. Breakfast was lovely the next morning plenty of options for all tastes. The swimming pool was a bit hit with the kids changing rooms were very clean. All staff where so lovely and helpful. We will back again.

Hotel excellent. Went for 2 nights and 2 rounds of golf. First night had food in Setanta restaurant and it was very good Second night had food in the Summit restaurant. What a calamity this place is. Seen multiple foods get sent back. I had a bacon burger and it wasn’t good. Undercooked and tasteless. Seen a burger getting sent back 4 times as the order was wrong. Faulty towers sums it up Breakfast 2 days was fantastic; great selection and friendly staff Really missing trick by not serving dinner in Kells bar

We stayed in this wonderful hotel during the Christmas period. We had received emails before we arrived, asking for me to make dinner and breakfast reservations. As we turned into the hotel driveway an amazing sight greeted us. Well-manicured grounds and ample parking. We arrived early and the very helpful Concierge took care of our bags, we had lunch in the Kells Bar. The bar food was outstanding, we were presented with a menu by a friendly server very quickly. The food arrived fast and was very tasty. The receptionist called me when the room was ready, The rooms are very clean, comfortable and well-furnished. Even though the hotel was busy, we didn't hear any noise during the night. Our dinner in the restaurant was slick, efficient and extremely good. Service was first class. We visited the leisure centre and as they are everywhere in the hotel, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast the next morning was very well organised and we were served with the minimum of fuss. We were very impressed with the staff, wherever I went the staff genuinely wanted to help in a friendly way. This hotel is a true gem.

We stayed at the hotel for one night with the bed and breakfast option. The hotel was lovely and we had a beautiful walk around the grounds, taking in the fabulous views. It is quite expensive for what you get- The room was very warm with no air conditioning working in the room - we asked for a fan, which was given to us upon requesting. At night the sleep conditions were roasting and too warm. We had dinner in one of the restaurants the same we had for breakfast. The dinner was nice but very small portion size. the dessert the choclate fondant was lovely. There was no different menu for any other nights it was the same menu if you were staying for a few nights. The staff were helpful and i was pleased. We went into the pool the first afternoon we arrived- the water was not clean it was a funny colour it did not smell clean either. The changing rooms were not up to standards either. However on a positive note i enjoyed the refershing cold water. Tea and coffee is very expensive 4.10 for tea is a crazy price. You also have to pay 5 euro to rent out the courts. Alot of elderly couples not many children. Mixed postive and negative reviews for me. The location and the grounds are lovely i enjoyed the walks and the hotel is lovely and its big.
