The Ivy Hotel

I booked an overnight reservation for my husband's birthday celebration. The entire experience was unique and simply outstanding in every way! We were made to feel VERY SPECIAL by each and every staff member with whom we engaged. We were CONTINUALLY welcomed throughout the stay from the person who opened the car door and greeted us by name to the very knowledgeable concierges, the room service staff, the culinary staff, the bellman, the driver, Lottie Dottie and EVERYBODY! The hotel was very clean and beautifully adorned with pictures, books, furniture, plants and artifacts that told the story of the hotel. This includes the very accommodating bedroom with a comfortable canopy bed and a pristine, spacious and updated bathroom. One could ALWAYS count on soul-stirring music playing in the background of every public space. Each tune moved us to murmur the lyrics regardless of where we were and what we were doing. Ever had a snack attack? No worries! The room was well stocked with a variety of goodies and beverages to soothe those evening urges. And, finally, let me praise the food selections offered to us at teatime and breakfast. Homemade jam, almond butter, muffins, oat flapjacks, chicken sausage, eggs, and more! This was quite an awesome getaway! And, yes, we would do it all over again!

It's like staying in a gilded home of your own! It's like no other hotel. Service is impeccable. No nickel and dining you and the amenities are worthy of the price. this is our second time staying at The IVY.

My husband and I travel all around the world. We decided to celebrate his milestone birthday and retirement at The Ivy, which had been on our bucket list for a while. My goodness! It's the best hotel we've ever visited. If there were such a thing as a six star hotel, this would be it. The rooms, the luxurious touches, the service, the thoughtful design, the food, the ammenities--all perfection. No detail was overlooked. Everyone on the staff greeted us by name. Their car service was able to take us anywhere witinin a 3-mile radius, so we were able to valet park on arrival and not have to drive anywhere ourselves until we left. They have a no tipping policy. The room is stocked with wine, coffee, tea, local beers, sparkling water, etc. (all complimentary). They anticipated our needs and made our stay magical. We hope to return soon. Was not able to get spa treatments after reserving 2 weeks out. However, they made up for it, with the upgrade to one of the pen house suite , which was very large and excellent. I would stay here again.

Hotel Ivy is superb in every way Gracious, elegant surroundings and accommodating staff. We also enjoyed the restaurant and a very relaxing massage at the spa
