I had an amazing stay !The rooms were spotless and spacious with a great view. The location is far from beach if you looking for place with beach. Staff were incredibly attentive and friendly. Highly recommend for a comfortable, luxurious experience

My husband and me had an awesome stay at Hard Rock Hotel Desaru. The room was clean, spacious, and well-maintained, with filtered drinking water provided in the room and all the amenities exactly as listed. I arrived early at around 10am and was pleasantly surprised to get my room by 11:45am, which was a huge bonus. The 24-hour buggy service to and from the beach was very convenient and made getting around effortless. The view facing the water park was beautiful, especially overlooking the landscaped area at the back. Watching the sunrise and sunset from there was truly relaxing. In the evening, the live Hard Rock band performance created such a great vibe. It was lovely to sit back with a drink and soak in the atmosphere. The hotel breakfast was awesome too. Overall, a fantastic experience, and I’ll definitely book this hotel again.

Hard Rock Hotel is a wonderful hotel. The service is warm and friendly, with great attention to detail. I stayed here to celebrate my birthday, and the hotel truly made it special. They prepared a hotel souvenir and a complimentary birthday cake for me, and even decorated the room with artwork. The staff were incredibly thoughtful, constantly wishing me a happy birthday, which made me feel very touched. In the evening, there were live bands performing at the hotel — the atmosphere was amazing and full of energy. I really loved the vibrant vibe here. The food was quite good as well. I truly enjoyed my stay and will definitely come back again next time. 🎸🎂✨

We were lucky enough to get upgraded to the suites, which was very spacious and felt comfortable! The service was also excellent, with he staff being very polite and friendly, and especially how there are buggies bringing us to beaches and other destinations in Desaru.

Encountered lots of ants in the toilet sink. Reported it to the housekeeping, but the ants returned again the next day. We requested for adjoining rooms for our family, but the front desk told us that all rooms are all checked in and there are no rooms available, leaving us with rooms 2 blocks apart, with one room being the last room in the corridor. However, we saw people checking in to their rooms later that day, and they got rooms in between our 2 rooms. When we raised this concern and asked the front desk, they blamed us for not asking them again the next morning for closer rooms. Will definitely not stay here again.

Rooms showing signs of low maintenance with some of the furniture either broken or not working properly. Service was great from security to front desk. Parking needs to be lots brighter at night without much light for pedestrian walking back to the hotel

I checked in with my wife, 1 year old daughter and mother in law. We had 2 bookings under 2 diff rooms but had requested very early on (more than a month in advance) to have the rooms side by side so that we can tend to both our baby and mother in law in case of anything. Hotel however said it would be subjected to availability and I'm the end gave us 2 rooms that was almost at 2 opposite ends. What was disappointing was that we saw other guests checking in to rooms between us. The toilet seat was also spoiled and hotel staff mentioned it was expected and they can fix it, which to their credit they did quite soon. Hotel breakfast was so bad that we decided to skip the remaining breakfast after the first day we had it. Overall a pretty disappointing experience with Hard Rock Desaru.
