⭐ 1-Star Review Title: Very Unpleasant Stay — Poor Maintenance and Unresolved Issues We stayed at Desaru Luxury Homestay for 4 days, and it was a very unpleasant experience. The WiFi stopped working from the 2nd day until checkout, and no alternative solution was offered. Because of this, the TV couldn’t be used. The toilet was choked, causing sewage water backflow. The toilet bowl couldn’t flush, and the sink was also blocked. Despite being told someone would fix it, the issue was never resolved, and we had to use the downstairs toilet throughout our stay. The rice cooker was burned and cracked, with no rice cooking pot available. The laundry room light and switch were broken, so we couldn’t use the washing machine at night. All three toilets had missing pipe heads, which made it very inconvenient. Common Room Aircon compressor very noisy thoughout the stay. Overall, the unit was poorly maintained, and management was unresponsive despite repeated follow-ups. Definitely not what you would expect from a place calling itself “Luxury Homestay.”

Had a little issue with checking in but was resolved so overall is still okay. The exterior looks a bit rundown, but given the price, I can't expect much. Value for money if staying with a huge family. The interior is pretty decent, but will be better if the rooms have TVs as well...

Place was spacious. It'll be more convenient if got transport. Netflix available but very limited channels can be viewed. Hygiene wise, the pillows, blankets, sofas and beds quite dusty and cannot be compared to hotel standard as the pillows inside the casing are yellowish. No drinking water provided but for the price, no complains
