For business trips, there is a small supermarket downstairs of the hotel which is very convenient. There are many taxis in front of the hotel, and the drivers don't know how to charge you. There are many small restaurants about 200 meters straight from the hotel. The hotel's breakfast is cooked to order, and the breakfast guy's attitude is very, very good.

This is a brand new hotel, so everything is clean and tidy. Swimming pool looks awesome and all the staffs are friendly as well. Even though I arrived around 4am in the morning, I was able to check-in without any delays. Also, you can taste a really good authentic pad thai at the 1st level cafe. I guess the only minor downside is the distance from the airport, which costs around 200 baht by grab. Quality reasonable price, quiet and not chaotic. The room is clean, there is a 7-Eleven in front and the pork krato can walk out. There will be a lot of people in the morning. Delicious food is available. P.S. The lobby is really wide, full of sofas.

The hotel's location is more than 20 minutes away from the airport. It is large in size, has complete supporting facilities, the room is clean, and the breakfast buffet is filling. The Lotus is a fantastic place to stay, and an absolutely gorgeous hotel, with an old school, wood clad interior. One can tell that it had some golden years, prior to COVID.Speaking to staff, local cab drivers and locals, they all speak of the Lotus in its greatness, and are saddened to talk about how COVID affected it. It is connected to a shopping center that is now abandoned. The court yard in the center still carries a sense of the Lotus's potential. Having said that, I'll say that the remaining staff do their very best to carry the weight of the big hotel, and sometimes struggle - but with a smile. The pool is absolutely one of its finest features, and is massive and beautiful. I read a review that there was no bar, or drinks available. That has since changed, as they provide beer at the pool and lobby, as well as a bar that is open most of the day. Excellent place to camp out in Chiang Mai!

This hotel has great facilities. It just needs some love and attention. The pool was great, the gym was excellent, and quite spacious. There was no drinking water available at the gym, though. The A/C was switched off and hence, it was super hot when I entered the gym. The location of the hotel was the biggest problem. There were no shops or restaurants close by. It's far from the city and closer to the airport which we knew. The reception was very difficult to reach and had to inform them or call them several times to get things done. Even though, they say it's a free shuttle. it's quite hard to get any communication from the reservations for pickup from the airport. Then, the breakfast, it was quite average and there were just too many bugs are worms crushed to death by the customers walking around. it was quite disgusting. The fruit section was completely left open and bugs and fruit flies were lying on it. All they had to do was just cover them. Hopefully, they take this feedback constructively and improve.
