What an incredible experience with the 3-day traditional Thai cooking course, guided by Pang. The recipes, passed down through generations, were instructed clearly and simply. We were introduced to fresh ingredients and had daily platters of fresh herbs and spices prepared for us, making it easy to follow the recipes and understand the ingredients. The traditional Thai homestead added to the authenticity of the experience. The comfortable and charming rooms, perched high to catch the breeze, were a delightful place to stay. Waking up to the sunrise and the sounds of birds was the perfect way to start each day. I would recommend this course to individuals of any cooking skill level. Pang is an excellent teacher with perfect english who always provides the "why" and "when" details, ensuring a memorable experience. This thorough approach makes it easy to reproduce the courses at home. A must do....

Our hostess and chef instructor Pang was fantastic. She is knowledgeable, and a delightful presenter. We learn so much from her about both Thai cuisine and culture. I’ve taken many cooking classes internationally and this is definitely in the top three. Her excellent language skills made he a joy to listen to.

Wir waren über Weihnachten 2022 mehrere Tage im Thai House mit unserer Familie in zwei Zimmern und es war wunderbar und authentisch. Die Zimmer und das ganze Haus sind sehr sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Es gibt einen zentralen Waschraum mit mehrere Toilette und Duschen, auch alles sehr sauber. Die Lage vom Thai House ist ruhig in einer Nebenstraße. Man glaubt gar nicht, dass man in Bangkok ist. Mit dem Taxi ist man trotzdem über die Schnellstraße umgehend in der Stadt, aber im Thai-House übernachtet man ja eher, da man Ruhe vom Massentourismus möchten. Dafür sorgen Pang und ihr Team. Man übernachtet eher bei einer Familie als in einem Hotel. In jedem Fall sollte man einen Kochkurs machen, um mehr über die thailändische Küche zu erfahren. Das Zubereiten und Kochen ist spannend, das Essen dann noch besser. Eine Bootstour über kleine Kanäle zu einem Markt abseits der Touristen-Wege ist auch ein tolles Erlebnis. Wir waren bereits vor 20 Jahren einmal im Thai-House und jetzt wieder. Und wir wurden wieder nicht enttäuscht.
