Suvarnabhumi Airport/Bang Na
We were only in Bangkok for 1 night for the Coldplay concert and so we decided to stay near the stadium. I booked the last room available on agoda and it was the quadruple room so it was very spacious for the two of us. It costs us about RM200+ and I thought it was pretty reasonable. Clean and comfortable for our short stay and located relatively near to the stadium (25-30min walk) and the airport rail stop Hua Mak (5min drive). It was easy for us to pop in for the concert, have some delicious food and massage before flying out again the next day. There are several 7 elevens along the way from the stadium entrance to our hotel so it was convenient to get quick snacks and meals. If you intend to spend more time in the city then I'd suggest staying elsewhere, this is most suitable for concert goers.

Booked to watch the concert at the stadium Advantages: High cost performance, almost the cheapest nearby Disadvantages: 1. It is nearly 20 minutes away from the venue/stadium night market. It will be really tiring to walk back from the concert, but there is a motorcycle team downstairs, so you can choose 2. Turning into a small alley, there are few lights at night and it’s a bit scary. 3. There is no big problem with the room facilities. It is a bit dank but clean. However, the sound insulation is very poor (I hope people who come back from the show can control it so that they can hear the humming clearly). The door is opened with a key instead of a room card. In addition to needing to keep the key (and deposit slip) carefully, it also poses a security risk. 4. The most uncomfortable thing is that there is no one at the front desk when I check out at 5 o'clock in the morning (I waited for a long time) and I lost my 200 baht deposit in vain (although it is not much, but it is very heartbreaking). If the hotel has service hours (what time and what time is there no one at the front desk), it should be done in advance Just let me know😭 After sending an email to the hotel, they handled it proactively, which is worthy of praise.

Very nice interior (for example, hardwood floor) though dated (see photo) and the location is superb (right next to The Mall Bangkapi which has a fabulous supermarket Gourmet Market hidden behind the department store). There Is an Indian restaurant at the lobby level, though the street food in Bangkapi ranks second only to Zeer Rangsit. Lucky to get an end unit overlooking a grove of trees — a rare sight from any hotel in Bangkok. Thanks to the solid hardwood door which blocks much of the noise in a kid-friendly hotel. Decide to stay longer, because the hotel itself gets a 4 star. The only regret is the clients the hotel attracts — nothing like the dignified Muslims seen elsewhere (for example, Regent Ramkamhaeng 22, or Pho Place, or Zotel), folks here are like refugees — coughing (at you in the elevator) and pushy (interrupting while you talk to the front desk); where this hotel advertises gets a minus 1 star. Will limit the extended stay to one or two days. <Why does the TripAdvisor software scramble the order in which the photos are loaded, and sometimes missing them altogether? To combat this flaw in the software, does a reviewer have to re-write and re-load one photo at a time? Why make reviewers suffer when they are only trying to help other travelers, in telling a quality story with correspondence to a sequence of photos?>

The water doesn't flow, go check in and tell the room is full. I'm tired. I have to come and beg. Deposit 500, get back 440, the rest is deducted service fee 🤣🤣🤣

Really nice hotel, the room's got all the basic things you need for a short or long stay. Nice sitting area in front of the hotel. Everything is very clean and the staff is nice. The location is away from the center, but if you're looking for accommodation in this area, it's a great choice!
