Best Hotels in Bangkok, Thailand

It's a very large hotel set right upon the railway line, that's a direct walkway to the station. Checkin was very busy and staff weren't so friendly on all interactions with them, but efficient and functional. Bear in mind that you're going to get noise whether you're in the rail line side or other side from traffic, but if you close the bathroom door the noise is minimized. There was a jug and 2 mugs in the room, nice new bedding and a clean renovated bathroom. Noise from the corridor can be loud with people talking and doors slamming but again, for the price it's quite a good option with an undercover walkway across a busy road to the airport rail line which makes for an easy early morning flight. There's a 500thb deposit, for what I don't know, the rooms are pretty spartan, anyway never mind. That's all, I'd have to have a think if I'd stay again. Hope this helps, good luck

A bit out of the way from shopping centres, bars & airport, everything is 30-45 minute grab away, which are cheap enough but with how bad the Bangkok traffic can be, it can be doubled in time unless you get a grab bike which is not possible when taking your luggage to airport lol. Overall, hotel was a good stay, it was comfy, it was clean, 7-Eleven within 2 minute walking distance. Gym had 1 x Treadmill, 1 x Bike, 1 x Cross-trainer so a little disappointing no machines / free weights, but that’s just being picky. I’d score 3.5/5 👍🏼

Hotel is in the prime location but as per the photos in the app while booking it was not like same. This is first time when a hotel charge for luggage handling when you checkout and go for 3 to 4 hours outside before taking the flight. Beds are making sound while you take a side also.

I arrived really early around 6:30 but i informed the hotel 1 day before for my request of early check in but they never replied.. My check was not pleasant at all, I actually don't mind them charging another one night charge for my early check in but the amount of time checking in was long and the receptionist wasn't very understanding of my predicaments. Anyway, apart from that, I liked my room and the location is fantastic with a connected to the BTS skytrain.

One of the hardest recommended Hotel I’ve ever given. First I have to list all the not-so-good things: 1. The room is old. You can feel it the moment you enter the room. The case for the air conditioner controller is broken (the controller is still working fine). The carpet is clean but old and out of fashion. The air conditioner’ fan runs like a jet engine. 2. The checkin/checkout lines are not optimized in work flow. It took at best 5 minutes just to checkin 2 persons, at worst 40 minutes for a group checkin. So I had one of the worst checkin time ever. I had to wait in line for 50 minutes for my turn. 3. The towels had some stains. They are clean though. But even with those negative things I still have a lot of good things to say: 1. Location, location, location. Ambassador is on the CBD of Bangkok. Which means you can go to other places very cheap and very quickly. It is close to the Nana BTS and Sukhumvit MRT. You can go to Terminal 21 for shopping and dining. Many other services are nearby. 2. The price is very affordable. Price/performance of the room is not bad at all. With the same price you can only have a smaller and worse location room of other hotels or homestay. 3. If you intend to go outside a lot during daytime then the room is not that bad. The shower and bed were really all my need and they worked just fine. 4. The Sky wing suite has a really good view of Bangkok 5. The staff are very nice and polite. I don’t have any negative moment regarding the staff. The hotel mainly targets Indian groups that join conventions or meetings. So they don’t renew the facilities frequently. But I think they are still good enough for your stay. Overall, if you can pay more, there are better options of course. But your budget is limited then you should definitely short-list this hotel.

Staying in Park Hyatt for more than 5 times. The environment and services are as good as always. Everything is superb. Love the bathroom in particular which is spacious, with simple and clean design. Will definitely stay in the same hotel in my future visits.

Love! frankly speaking this is not my first time staying here, stayed here before even years ago & have always been my favourite hotel, for the price of merely RM160(ard USD34) only! including breakfast for 2 I would say it's indeed best value ever! Room was super spacious, clean & tidy, just some of the furnitures bit worn out, otherwise it's all percecto Simple buffet breakfast spread but it's all gud, noodle station & egg stn were awesome👍 location wise no others can beat, just easily reach by BTS, alight at Chong Nonsi BTS and heads down, I residence is just next to the station👍 7eleven just below the hotel and foodcourt as well, so pratically you wont get hungry at all here, and dont forget the morning weekdays market behind Trinity Silom that has soooooo many to offer & its just like merely 5mins walk away, very convenient👍 not forgetting their Pool at the highest floor (level10) fantastic view of King Power MahaNakhon tower from here👍 overall its a good stay and worth the price highly recommended👍

First and foremost it should be stipulated up front you need a CASH deposit (1000 baht). Very clean and modern hotel room. Overall good value for the price considering it has a microwave and a full fridge/freezer. No utensils, though. 2 bottles of water and coffee packets provided The bathroom is a bit small but just right for one person with enough space to manuever from the toilet, shower,and sink. Soap provided Surprisingly there is no safe in the unit. The bed is a typical Thai hard bed. There is an attempt to make it softer by using a mattress topper but it is still stiff. Shower is decent. 7 Eleven is a 3 minute walk away. Very inaccurate that there is an ”airport shuttle”. What they offer is to drop you off at a Sky Train Station. You still need to walk to Departure area. The sign in the lobby says the airport shuttle is 800BAHT one way which is absolutely ridiculous! Although the airport is 3km away, it took 18 minutes and cost 148 baht on GRAB to be dropped off right in the departure lane. Recommend downloading the GRAB app and don't bother with the hotel shuttle service I found the front desk staff and security to be hospitable and had no concerns with the service.

Most outstanding is locality , although the double beds room is smaller compared to Phra Khanong Ibis but the breakfast is fabulous. The hotel building is shared between Ibis and Mercury hotel . I will definitely stay in again when I visit Bangkok again .

Location is excellent! Located right next to BTS Phloen Chit Station and it is easy to get grab and somehow ”avoided” the terrible traffic in bangkok at times. However, the only downside is the lift servicing the hotel. It is extremely slow and one was faulty during my stay. And the noise of traffic can be heard from 12th floor. Light sleeper should probably take a slight note of that. Other than that I do not really have any complaints. Thank you!
