Very disappointing stay – not what you expect from a Grand Suite From the moment we arrived, the service was disappointing. There was no one available to assist with our luggage at check-in. I had requested early check-in in advance, but no effort was made to accommodate this. I understand availability can be an issue, so I then asked for a late checkout, which was also refused. However, when I asked about paying for a late checkout, suddenly a room was available. If your terms state “subject to availability,” then clearly availability existed — even from the day before. It does not make sense that neither early check-in nor late checkout was possible if the hotel was not fully booked. At checkout, the bellboy refused to help with luggage because I was not taking a car to the airport and instead tried to upsell transportation. The same upselling behavior had already happened the day before with another bellboy, which felt inappropriate and unprofessional. The Grand Suite itself was poorly equipped — there were no plates or cutlery, making it impossible to eat comfortably in the room. The lounge staff were inconsistent and often unfriendly, and both breakfast and lounge food were very poor, especially compared to other nearby hotel lounges. We barely spent time in the suite because the overall experience was so unpleasant. What was supposed to be an unforgettable last night in Bangkok turned into a very negative one. To make matters worse, the lady with glasses at checkout was rude, which left a final bad impression. Overall, this stay did not reflect the level of service or quality expected from a luxury hotel or a Grand Suite.

recently stayed at Solitaire Bangkok Sukhumvit 11 and while the hotel itself has a good location and comfortable facilities, my overall experience was significantly impacted by the customer service. Upon arrival, the room, amenities, and cleanliness met expectations. However, an interaction with a member of the back office team—Ms. Arisa—was very disappointing and unprofessional. I received multiple phone calls reminding me of the check-out time after I had already confirmed that I understood and would check out at the correct time. When I called to ask about a visitor coming to see me, the same topic was repeated despite already being confirmed. When I politely asked for clearer and more respectful communication, the staff member repeatedly raised her voice and spoke in a manner that felt disrespectful. I reminded her that this is hospitality service, but her response was that she “didn’t care.” When I mentioned I would raise a complaint, she again said she didn’t care. As a frequent traveler and aviation professional, I’ve stayed in many hotels around the world and have never experienced such behavior. While the hotel’s facilities and location are good, the lack of professionalism in service made this stay unpleasant. I hope management takes guest feedback seriously and improves customer service training so future guests do not experience similar issues.

Every time my family and I visit Bangkok, we book the Solitaire Bangkok hotel. The rooms are well-equipped and comfortable, and we particularly love the comfortable king-size beds. The surrounding area has 7-Eleven stores, restaurants, bars, and large shopping malls, making it an excellent choice.

Everything it was nice

Nice hotel with great swimming pool! Location is near lots of bars, cafe etc. We had a family room: two connected bedroom with two bathrooms. It was very convenient but the bedroom with double bed had no windows, so it was a bit pity. Otherwise, everything is clean, comfortable beds, nice view (from the second bedroom).

An excellent hotel when just the original building but since redeveloped over the last few things it has gone downhill. We have stayed there for over 2 decades but the last few years since adding the extra building it's seems to have changed to catering more for Indian customers. The roof top bar is now a Bollywood bar and the first thing that greets you as you arriving is a large Indian restaurant adjacent to it. We go to Thailand for Thai culture not Indian so after this trip we will be staying elsewhere, but if Indian a gem maybe.

The room was spacious and comfortable, and the location is very convenient for travelers since many attractions and lively streets are close by. The breakfast selection may not be the best suited for international guests, but overall, it was a good experience.

Nice clean hotel and staff are good. A bit jam to go inside but there are 7-Eleven and Tops nearby. Lots of food as well.

There's nothing to complain about. It ticked all the boxes and I will definitely stay again. The location was ideal, the hotel was clean and comfortable, good staff and reasonable price. If you are in confusion to choose the right hotel in Sukhumvit, do yourself a favour and stay here.

We had a great stay at Solitaire Sukhumvit 11 Bangkok. The rooms were comfortable, and the location was very convenient, close to 7 eleven, have laundry service nearby and massage. The kids really enjoyed the swimming pool. Overall, a nice place to stay in Bangkok.

We were 3 adults staying at the hotel. We asked the reception before arrival to provide us with a room with 3 beds. The staff granted our request and we did indeed receive a large room with 3 separate beds. The rest of the service was also of a high standard, including room cleaning service and the pool staff. Everything was as expected from a hotel of this level and even beyond that.
