Mitr Inn Khaosan Road

This isn't really a hostel, more like a VIP overnight stay. For this price, you'd usually only get a bed in a 6-person dorm room at a hostel. I had a bit of trouble with the self-check-in at first. Turns out I was supposed to enter the code on the box next to the door, not on the door itself. It could pass as a private room in a dorm, but around 3 AM, a strong smell of urine appeared, and only the air conditioning helped. The AC units are basic, they just pull air from the hallway, so there was a terrible rattling noise in the room.

Very close to the airport, which is basically the only reason to stay here. Conditions are fine.

Horrible!! Stay away! Don't even set foot in this room. It looks nothing like the pictures. The person for check-in on the phone took ages to answer, didn't give all the information, and was unpleasant. The room is very dirty, and don't even get me started on the showers – it makes you wonder if anyone has ever cleaned the place. The entrance is awful with smells of cigarette smoke, urine, and worse. The sheets are full of stains and yellow. I left immediately after entering the room due to numerous issues, and the person didn't try to understand or offer a refund.
