I understand now what previous traveller said, there's insect but importantly they're cockroaches. I found them on my pillow, and then on the bedsheet. I suspect they're from the bedside near the wall. Actually the design of this hostel is good. No shampoo or towel is not a big deal. Note that the toilet door in this share room is just one, and after you go inside, males and females sides are then separated by 2 movable door.

This was my first time staying in a mixed dormitory, so to be honest I was a little confused to have a woman in the private room. The room is cleaned every day and is extremely clean. There is a shared space in the private room which is spacious and comfortable, with two showers and two Western-style toilets, one for men and one for women. The water in a plastic pot at the entrance was free and very helpful.

We stayed here for a night and then came back for two nights, the hostel itself is very pleasant and has good areas communally to relax. There is a cafe on site for any hot beverages. The reception area provides free water refills and a kettle to use. The bathrooms are cleaned daily. The beds are in big rooms but there are 3 aircon units keeping the whole room cool. There is a balcony to relax outside on the second and third floors. Sofas to relax in the dorms themselves and lockers to keep valuables in with a key. The doors are security locked and you use a fob to get in and out which makes it feel more safe. The staff members are friendly and helped with any queries. The beds are comfortable and curtains / USB and plug sockets provided for each bed. Overall a good stay , we would recommend to other travellers
