Royal View Resort - Rang Nam Reviews

This is already my second time choosing to stay at Royal View Resort, and even knowing they were undergoing renovations didn't deter my decision ☺️. Mainly because their overall value for money is exceptional. The room size of over 300 sq ft had ample air conditioning and hot water, and the bathroom had no strange odors and even a bathtub for soaking, which is a big plus. Additionally, the convenient location, just one stop from the BKK Airport Rail Link, means that getting to Central World, Siam, or Chit Lom is only a few stops away. It's incredibly fast and convenient. You can have an affordable all-you-can-eat breakfast at the hotel in the morning, go shopping and splurge, and then return to the hotel for a shower. After that, you can call a car to head out to the night market 😋 for food and drinks. Even returning to the hotel at 11 PM feels very safe. Because the Victory Monument area where the hotel is located is very close to King Power, it's a relatively quiet neighborhood. This means there are no bars or loud music at night to disturb your sleep. The surrounding streets have three 7-Elevens, pharmacies, restaurants, coffee shops, and massage chains. There's also a three-story shopping mall connected to the BTS with eateries both inside and out. So, I highly recommend everyone to choose to stay at Royal View Resort again, just like me! *P.S. I must mention that the hotel staff here are incredibly polite. Every time you enter or exit, whether it's morning, noon, or night, they always greet guests with a smile and a nod. If it rains, they ask if guests have umbrellas, and when you return with a lot of shopping bags 🤭, they run over to help open the door. I'm truly grateful for their proactive and enthusiastic service! 🙏

Conveniently located less than a 5-minute walk from the subway station. Breakfast is à la carte and all-you-can-eat. The rooms are currently undergoing renovations, which take place from 10 AM to 5 PM, and will continue until the end of the year. Service from the front desk was excellent.

Not a luxurious hotel, but the staff provided excellent service, from the welcoming front desk to the employee who personally escorted me to my room. You can tell they train their staff very well. The amenities are great, fragrant and clean. Just by looking at the bathroom, I knew I made the right choice.

The breakfast was absolutely delicious, and the front desk staff had an amazing attitude.

So close to BTS Victory Monument, and right across from the hotel's alley exit on the right is King Power. The alley exit on the left has lots of local street food. The hotel staff were all very friendly and polite. The welcome drink was absolutely delicious! The room was comfortable and tidy, and even had a small balcony. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area. The only downside was that the room lighting was a bit dim.

This is my second time staying at this hotel. The location is still excellent, right in the alley diagonally opposite the King Power Duty Free shop. This time, I noticed the alley has turned into a night market, so you can just step out and enjoy street food and shopping right from the hotel entrance in the evenings. I stayed in a suite on the 7th floor this time. The bedroom door could be closed, which finally solved the problem of not being able to sleep due to the noisy air conditioning unit outside. Being on a higher floor also reduced the noise from the street. The room facilities are, as always, mediocre. Breakfast is a buffet plus a la carte, fresh but the taste is just average. As usual, the staff didn't show any overt discrimination, but they consistently had expressionless faces, especially the women at the front desk.

Great location, close to Pratunam Market, about 1.8 km away. Right outside, you'll find plenty of food options, massage places, and 7-Elevens. The shops are all there too. The room was neat and clean, with everything you need. Pretty good!

The hotel is close to attractions and very clean. Every staff member was incredibly nice. They tidied up our room beautifully every day, which was such a pleasant surprise to come back to. Excellent service!

The room was great and very clean. The location was also quite good, with several eateries nearby. The front desk service was excellent, and they even offered welcome drinks. Overall, I highly recommend this place and would stay here again.

The hotel is located in an excellent part of the city, close to historic Bangkok, with a huge number of shopping malls and the King Power duty-free shop. Prices are... well, debatable, but okay. As for the hotel itself, it's very cozy. There was renovation work happening on the 5th floor, but it didn't affect our stay at all; it even sometimes helped us wake up. No irony, it was truly almost inaudible, and we are sensitive sleepers... 😅 The hotel staff are the best! Friendly and always willing to help, I wish all hotels were like that 😇 We will definitely be back! An important clarification for future travelers: all rooms on the 8th floor are for smokers, while floors 2-7 are non-smoking. This was a shock for us, as there are many Chinese guests, and in their culture, it's common to smoke everywhere. It's strange that only one floor is allocated for it. 😁

Excellent! There's a lovely small park nearby, three 7-Elevens, and the King Power Duty-Free Mall is right next door. The metro station is also very close, making it a great choice. Hygiene: Excellent Service: Thank you!

The hotel is beautiful and very clean. Before checking in, they offered a welcome drink and a cold towel. The staff at the front desk provided excellent service.
