Very nice hotel , large and impressive. Clean and well organised. However no chairs or sofas în the main lobby for anyone to sit around while waiting for anything? I really enjoyed my stay . Highly recommended

Nice hotel, helpful staff, great pool, comfortable room, very close to MRT Blue line. The only issue was the shower head - was not functioning properly.

Very practical for solo and business travelers. The hotel is close to the MRT and convenient stores. The only downside is that you can hear people talking in the corridor or closing the doors pretty loudly.

Pro - Receptionists are friendly - Guards are helpful - Room is spacious - Complete toiletries  - With hair dryer and can request for iron - They clean our room everyday for 7 days and replenish everything  - The provide drinking water everyday - Near to train station and 711, and UOB Bank Cons - No lounge in the lobby so you can sit and wait for Grab - The toilet bowl is noisy after you flush, the loud noise would last for 10-15seconds every time you flash the toilet - Usually crowded with so many people in the lobby - The bed is hard - The pillows are too soft - The body soap amount is so little for 2 persons - The iron and iron stand looked so old

Very convenient location nearby restaurants, shopping malls, night market, and MRT. The room is spacious, and the facilities are good with gym and swimming pool.

Great location , walking distance to huai Khwang met too. Many local eateries nearby and there one 7/11 just below the hotel!

We got a free upgrade to a business suite which was very nice, large & amazingly comfortable bed. Room was silent. Staff super kind. Swimming pool with awesome view.

The great things about this Hotel is the location and size of the room,hotel,and gym. The bad things about the hotel are the following: 1) Owner spends nothing pretty much on up keeping the hotel. 2) Hotel is old is but nothing was changed inside hotel 3) GYM equipment are like from when they first started making weights perhaps like 30 years old. 4) Beds and toilets in rooms are very old. Mattress is cheap and hard. Uncomfortable to sleep on. Probably bought the cheapest mattress he could find. 5) Air pollution in Bangkok had been very unhealthy and many hotels have now started to use nice high quality high end air purifiers in their rooms so their guests can sleep well and rest well. The rooms not only smell bad but also have no air purifiers to clean out the poor AQI from Bangkok at 2.5 PMI. I think three things would make the hotel at better place to stay at. The prices over the years have been updated but the rooms and hotel has not. 1) High Quality air purifiers in every room and also a few on each floor so guests can actually breathe and not have to cough and wheeze all day and night long while in hotel room. 2)Offer slightly bigger beds for rooms with 2 beds in them and more comfortable beds. These feel like one is sleeping on the floor. Hard and uncomfortable 3) Update GYM with nice new weight equipment they I would give this hotel a 5 star rating. I think it’s important to spend a little of what one collects from business back into business but these 3 most important things are non visible to guest. I think I saw Sindhorn Hotel team up with Sharp for air purifiers. Either Sharp or Get the best air purifiers from Xiaomi for each room. Also the air conditioner in room should have HEPA filters installed so the air that comes out doesn’t cause asthma and wheezing. Also not sure who designed pool to be on this side of the hotel so after 11:30 am no sun for people who want to swim and tan in sun. Last but not least the GYM should also have air purifiers inside so the people working out can breathe fresh clean air. 2.5 PMI and exercising is not good 😳🙈 If this was my hotel I would strive to make my guests comfortable and happy by giving them a nice bed to sleep in/on, make sure they have clean air to breathe while in hotel, and make sure they have a nice gym to work out in.

Service, room cleanliness and other facilities are very good. The price is acceptable.I will come to stay again next trip.

I stayed at this hotel, and my experience was mixed. Starting with the positives: the location is excellent! There is a 7-Eleven nearby, and the metro station is just a 6-minute walk away, making everything easily accessible. The room also had a beautiful view. Additionally, the hotel features a swimming pool. The room itself was very spacious, bright, and clean, with a large bathtub and a separate shower. The amount of space was truly impressive. The bed linen, towels, and bathrobe were fresh and clean. The room was equipped with all the essentials: cotton swabs, a shower cap, toothbrushes, shampoo, shower gel, and even body lotion. The bathrobe was provided free of charge, but slippers were available only for an extra fee of 200 baht. Unfortunately, there was no hairdryer. Now for the downsides: the room is in desperate need of renovation. The furniture and decor are very worn, with visible wall damage and peeling paint. The floor-to-ceiling windows, which could have been a highlight, were extremely dirty and seemed like they hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. The entire room had an outdated and shabby feel. It’s worth noting that this is a Chinese hotel, and most of the guests were from China. During checkout, I had to wait due to a long queue at the front desk. A deposit of 2000 baht was required upon check-in. Overall, the convenient location, swimming pool, and spacious rooms are definite advantages. However, the hotel could be significantly improved with renovations and more thorough cleaning. ——— Останавливалась в этом отеле, и впечатления получились смешанными. Начну с плюсов: расположение просто отличное! Рядом есть магазин 7-Eleven, до метро всего 6 минут пешком — всё необходимое в шаговой доступности. Кроме того, из номера открывался красивый вид. Также в отеле есть бассейн. Теперь о самом номере: он был очень просторный, светлый и чистый, с большой ванной и отдельным душем. Места действительно много, что приятно удивило. Постельное бельё, полотенца и халаты были чистыми. В номере были все необходимые принадлежности: ватные палочки, шапочка для душа, зубные щётки, шампунь, гель для душа и даже лосьон для тела. Халат предоставлялся бесплатно, а вот тапочки были только за дополнительную плату — 200 бат. Фена, к сожалению, не было. Из минусов: номер явно требует ремонта. Мебель и отделка сильно изношены, на стенах видны вздутия и трещины. Огромные окна в пол, которые могли бы стать изюминкой номера, были грязными, словно их не мыли очень давно. Всё выглядело обветшалым и устаревшим. Стоит отметить, что отель китайский, и среди гостей было много туристов из Китая. При выезде пришлось немного подождать, так как на ресепшене была очередь. Депозит при заселении составил 2000 бат. В целом, расположение, бассейн и просторные номера — большие плюсы, но отелю не помешал бы капитальный ремонт и более тщательная уборка окон.

Room design and furniture could be improved. The lobby and amenities were great though. Staff were also very helpful and friendly.

It's a very old hotel. The furniture and plumbing are in terrible condition. It seems that the hotel is specially designed for Chinese tourists. There is nothing near the hotel except 7\11. The staff is rude to the guests. It's unclear why, but the hotel charges a deposit upon check-in. It is required to be paid ONLY in cash, although the hotel accepts bank cards and Alipay for payment. We chose this hotel because of the pool. The pool is not cold - it is icy! It is impossible to swim in it.

I had a pleasant stay at The Emerald Hotel, Bangkok. While the hotel is a bit old, it is well-maintained and has a classic charm. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, making it a great place to relax after a long day in the city. The location is excellent—close to MRT Huai Khwang, making it easy to get around Bangkok. There are also many restaurants, shopping options, and convenience stores nearby. The facilities, including the pool and gym, were well-kept.
