For its price, this hotel is surprisingly good and cozy. It's conveniently located near the metro, about a three-minute walk away. There are two 7/11s, a laundry shop, and an evening mini-market nearby. The hotel itself has a swimming pool, designated smoking areas, and places where you can simply relax, lie down, or sit. It's not right on the main road and is generally in a quiet neighborhood. There's also a cafe on the premises, and the hotel offers laundry services. The room was cleaned daily, and water and toiletries were replenished. Linens were changed regularly. If you hang the 'do not disturb' sign, they won't bother you; they'll leave water and toilet paper by the door. The room has a balcony with hangers for drying clothes, and the balcony is screened so your items won't fly away. Check-in and check-out were early in the morning and went smoothly. They ask for a 500 baht deposit, but it's returned upon check-out. The only thing to note is if you have a large suitcase, I recommend taking a taxi to the hotel from the metro. Although the walk isn't long, the path is very narrow, only about 40 centimeters wide for pedestrians, which would be difficult with a suitcase. Keep in mind that this isn't the city center; you'll need to take about 10 metro stops to get there. However, Chatuchak Park is just one station away or a half-hour walk. Overall, 9.5/10, I would definitely come back here again.

Baan Tanwa is absolutely great value for money! Even though motorbikes in Thailand can be noisy, it's really quiet here!!!! The environment is fantastic, and there's a pool, although I didn't get to use it this trip because I was too rushed. The decor is very unique, and the price is excellent. It's close to the MRT blue line station, making it super convenient to get anywhere. This time I went for a Chinese community gathering, and it was only two stops from Union Hall – truly amazing value. I'll definitely stay here again next time. There's also a 7-Eleven nearby and plenty of local shops.

Great location, with the metro nearby. A night market sets up right outside the hotel three times a week.

Great location. The room was clean, and the air conditioning was well-positioned. In the evenings, there's a night market nearby, and three 24/7 7-Eleven stores and a Lotus's are within walking distance. The metro is also close by. The pool is clean, and there are three exercise machines available. Breakfast is optional. There's a laundry room. The staff are friendly and ready to help with any issue. My only suggestions would be to add a toothbrush holder in the bathroom and one disposable razor.

The rooms are clean and spread across multiple floors. The amenities are complete, and there's parking available. However, when checking in, I had to find my own way and ask around; there wasn't anyone to guide me or answer questions readily. But overall, it was good.

Excellent service. The room was comfortable, clean, and the water pressure was strong. The TV had a clear picture. The room felt private and secure.

This hotel is truly authentic, with antique furniture and figurines everywhere – it's all beautiful. It's located a bit further out compared to hotels we've stayed in before. But on the plus side: 1. The underground metro is cheaper and just as convenient as the elevated one. 2. The pool is great (a little cool because it's at ground level, but it's a nice refreshing dip in the heat). 3. The staff allowed us to cook in the kitchen, and it was a nice touch that free coffee was always available at reception. 4. We were really happy with the market near the hotel on weekends and Wednesdays; the fruits and vegetables were incredibly cheap. Plus, there's a 7-Eleven and Lotus nearby, along with small stalls selling fried chicken and fish. It's a bit scary walking along the road as there are no sidewalks. But that's just how it is in Thailand. You just get used to it and walk slowly. The whole family enjoyed staying here.

Stayed for a couple of nights before our flight. Overall, good value for money. There's a 7/11 nearby, the metro is about an 8-minute walk, and there's a night market just around the corner. They have a pool and free tea and coffee. The room itself was a decent size, and everything was clean and in good condition.

This hotel was a perfect fit for us. The location is ideal, tucked away from the main roads, so our room was nice and quiet. It's close to the MRT (underground metro), which was important as we didn't care for the BTS (sky train). The room has a desk and excellent internet. Downstairs, there's a dining area with all the necessary utensils, and you can grab a coffee anytime. They have a good swimming pool, and even exercise mats are available. There's also a small library. And everything is so beautifully decorated, with so many different figurines! It's like a museum-hotel. We stayed for 2 weeks, then traveled around the country, and came back here for another 10 days. We'd probably only stay here whenever we're in Bangkok. We're also dog lovers and owners ourselves, and there are two little dogs living here, which was lovely to see.

Coming to Thailand feels like coming home. I feel so lucky to have stayed at this guesthouse. So lucky that every time I go back to the guesthouse, all I want to do is cry. I have a feeling I don't want to go back home ==

The hotel is conveniently located just over a 10-minute walk from BTS BL16 station, with two 7-Eleven stores along the way. It features a swimming pool, and you can make your own coffee or tea at the beverage station next to it. There are also some antique-style tables and chairs where you can relax and dine. Near the hotel entrance, there's a tiny, unassuming bar. To the right of the exit, you'll find a small night market, a hot pot restaurant, and a Thai restaurant. Inside, the hotel doesn't have a large, conventional reception desk. Instead, it's decorated with statues, furniture, and various Thai ornaments. After walking down a hallway, you turn left into a glass-doored office – that's where you check in. The hotel is very quiet and clean, with three lovely Thai ladies responsible for housekeeping. The pool is clear and cool, and there's some basic fitness equipment nearby. All the staff are friendly. I stayed here for 15 days, and it was truly relaxing and stress-free. It's only three BTS stops to Huai Khwang station, where you can visit the Erawan Shrine and Rahu Shrine, enjoy durian, skewers, night markets, and various Chinese and Thai restaurants. This station truly has everything! I highly recommend this hotel; it's a hassle-free stay. When entering and exiting at night, you can use your room card without needing to interact with hotel staff, which adds to the convenience of your trip.
