Montien Hotel Surawong Bangkok

Silom/Sathorn Bangkok|2.39km from Long Share pub and bar
I had the pleasure of staying at The Montien for 3 weeks 2 months ago when on a company-booked trip. My room and bed were extremely comfortable and spacious, with plenty of natural light and unobstructed views, quality amenities including a Nespresso machine. The Montien decor is modern, Thai style and beautiful. The breakfast buffet is bountiful, with plenty of variety. Pierre Pelletier, the Area General Manager and his team went above and beyond to ensure my stay was outstanding! Then this month when my family and I planned a vacation to Bangkok I picked this hotel as our base. The hotel is conveniently located for easy access to the sky and underground trains, many must-go-to restaurants, cafes, Siam Paragon, temples, Chinatown, night walks and more. We were welcomed with incredible 5-star Thai hospitality. Special mention to Khun Nu, her front desk team and night manager Khun Jew for handling flight delays, airport transfers and arranging pick up of lost luggage, Khun Tik for his world-class warm welcomes, Max’s regular assistance and taxi coordination, the ever-helpful and polite bellmen, Beer remembering our morning coffee preferences, Kae at Ruenton restaurant for looking after us at dinners, friendly Tanya at the lobby bar, the housekeeping team for keeping our 3 rooms impeccable and everyone who made our Bangkok vacation so memorable! It felt like our home away from home and we enjoyed our time here so much!

Pros:  Chinatown walking street immediately on exit Lovely lobby bar Amazing decoration in the hallways and room Great Cantonese food around Lots of street food 7/11 Comfortable bed Fast wifi Some amenities in room Cleaned daily Room safe 5 minutes to MRT Excellent customer service Cons: No coffee or coffee cups No small towels (annoying for using hand basin) No toothbrush/paste/razor (surprised for 4 star hotel) Door difficult to lock Occasional traffic noise No international food options around Rush hour traffic is intense Inconveniently placed wall sockets Overall had a fantastic stay at this hotel. I really enjoyed the style and theme (possibly too authentic). If you're looking for something fun then try this.
China Town Hotel

China Town
Hotel is right in the heart of the main streets of China Town, as you step out onto the street you are welcomed with the expected noise, smells and people. The day and night markets are just down the round and there are many good on-street restaurants down the the side streets. The staff are really friendly and welcoming, remembering us was a nice touch. The room was clean if a little compact, with plenty of hanging space, and the usually facilities available.

From 19:00 there's nobody anymore, so it's better not to need anything. We went on taxi at 6 a.m. without anyone realizing it. What most disturbed me is that the windows are very fragile and close just with a small metal stick. Not secure at all, nor insonorized. The hotel is located in the centre of the city, and the hotel is located in the centre of the city. The hotel is very comfortable and very comfortable. My advice: double glasses and hotel service are to be provided, otherwise you need to reclassify into ”family pension” or ”hospitality” and reduce the price by half.

At first, I went to rest because I saw that it was near Yaowarat. Will find something easy to eat, but ... the accommodation is very good, the owner is kind. Give advice on travel The room is super clean. It is really a vacation like home. The key is that the coffee is very delicious. There is a chance next time, I will definitely go back. P.S. 2 days breakfast is not unique 🫶🏻❤️

China Town
All the greetings! Budget travelers can advise this hostel in the heart of China Town. First, it has a great location. Second, it is clean, comfortable, really good wi-fi. Third, price. Special thanks to staff! Guys are sensitive, friendly. There is also a complimentary breakfast in the hostel, a-la Swedish table. The range is certainly scarce, but still good. You can eat before you go to Bangkok. Another chip, on the second floor, you need to change the street shoes, put it in the closet, and take clean shoes from the shelf) Somehow at home) Also on the second floor there is a common area where you can drink free tea, coffee, cocoa. Crush the crackers. Play table games or even billiards. Kayf ) We lived in it for 6 days in the height of the coronary virus pandemic, so we were 3 guests on 5 floors, felt an individual approach. unusual experience ))
Pho Place

China Town
My stay at Pho Place was one of my best places that I have stayed in especially their internet speed was one of the best even with 8 or more people on it. The staff were also exceptional and very helpful in helping me In fact everything was very great . The only real issue was that I am a foodie and used to a lot of food carts around when I stayed in Chinatown and not just once a month, but there was plenty of different places to eat so it wasn't too great a hardship for m lol
