"Nice staff at the reception beds are comfy but very outdated room been to better primer inn it's got the same bed as every other one light is crap haven't used shower doesn't look good to be honest the restaurant of the premier inn is rubbish was waiting for a while my partner had a adults I had a kids meal both Sunday dinner mine was just as big as his. The food quality was very poor my meal was cold the only thing that was good was the side order of cauliflower cheese. I would highly recommend getting a takeaway or weatherspoons is like luxury compared to here."

Ty Glyndwr Hotel Bangor
"This hotel is literally located just in front of the railway station. It took less than a minute on foot from railway station. The staffs there were very friendly and handled with the room problem promptly (there was not a hair dryer in our room). The most highlight was the dinner this hotel offered. The Thai curry I ordered was really tasty nevertheless price was just 10 ponds! Since in Bonger city, the number of hotels are quite less, the existence this hotel was helpful us to visit Anglesey Island and Carnarvon castle."

Premier Inn Bangor (Gwynedd, North Wales) ★★★
"I always stay at Premiere Inns when touring around Britain and after a night at Oswestry Premiere Inn (excellent) I stayed at Bangor; and wished I hadn't. The hotel is located in a business park surrounded by offices and a huge warehouse, so there isn't anywhere except the Table Table restaurant to eat. The building looks like it is having construction work done but there is no notice of this when you book. I booked a twin room with a double bed and a sofa bed, but was given a twin room with twin single beds which were far too small for me. This, and the broken air conditioning, gave me a terrible nights sleep. There was an awful stink of drains/sewers when I entered the Table Table restaurant (possibly from the nearby toilets). All of the tables were sticky and most hadn't been cleared of used plates and glasses (there didn't appear to be enough staff to adequately run the restaurant. The food took ages to come but was ok when it arrived. In the morning I was told that there was no cooked breakfast buffet and I had to order what I wanted. I gave my order to the waitress for a large breakfast (3 eggs, sausages bacon and everything else) but received a child's sized breakfast (unless they are using humming bird eggs) When I left the restaurant I noticed a piece of paper taped to the door saying they had reduced serving times due to lack of staff. I also noticed the Hygiene Certificate had a rating of 3 to of 5. This explains a lot. The place fails the Premiere Inn standard on everything"

The Menai Hotel and Bar ★★★
"There is a bar downstairs so it can be a bit noisy and will probably last until around 11 or 12 o'clock. In general, the attitude of the hotel's front desk was very good, the bed was very soft, the room was quite large, and it was very close to the station. Overall, the stay was comfortable and satisfactory"
