I booked Glenskirlie Castle for my daughters surprise 40th birthday celebration. We met with staff and described what we would like - a meal for family and close friends followed by music and drinks for additional guests. Staff could not have been more helpful and accomodating. The food was excellent, waiting staff very efficient and helpful and management helpful, friendly and experienced. Despite several changes to our initial plans everything was exactly as we wanted. We booked a room for our daughter and son in law and it was spectacular as they were upgraded. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Glenskirlie for any type of function, all your needs will be catered for at a reasonable price by very professional staff.

Came here for mid week stay to celebrate our 20th anniversary. Emailed ahead to advise and they said they'd see what they could do to help us celebrate. Unfortunately there was nothing added? Not a mention or anything? Think we were the only guests or perhaps there may have been one other? Not made to feel v comfortable or welcome on arrival? Room was sooo dark and def not immaculately clean which was a shame. Very dusty etc. Meal however in the restaurant was top notch and the service was v attentive. We really enjoyed r 20th anniversary meal there at least 👌🏻😍🥂🍻💕 Wasn't even offered breakfast. Not the best experience which was such a shame as we thought we'd splash out and treat ourselves but this was v expensive for what we felt we received 😔

Glenskirlie Castle is a beautiful hotel. Our room was lovely, clean and very comfy. The extra touches with the shortbread and bottles of water were great. The hotel itself has great features and decor, all in keeping with the castle theme and has a lovely, relaxed feel to it. We had dinner and breakfast and cannot fault either. The food was delicious and plenty of it. Every member of staff we spoke to were really nice and friendly. We will definitely go back again.

Beautifully decorated hotel, food is good and reasonably priced but what makes this place is the staff. They are helpful and relaxed, it gives a warm welcoming atmosphere to every area.

Was fortunate enough to attend a wedding, and enjoy an overnight stay, at Glenskirlie House and Castle this weekend. The building is absolutely stunning. Our room (109) was spotlessly clean and very spacious with an extremely comfortable bed. Special mention has to go to the staff at this hotel too. Every single one of them were an absolute credit to the place and nothing was too much trouble for anybody. The food was out of this world too. Dinner, and barbecue, for the wedding went down a treat and the Full Scottish breakfast was heaven in the morning and great for washing away the hangover ! Was a bit nervous beforehand that the bar prices might have been a sore point but couldn't have been more wrong. Prices were actually very reasonable, and cheaper than a lot of mediocre town centre pubs. Would not hesitate to recommend this to anybody planning a wedding in future, or even just for anybody looking for a relaxing weekend, enjoying great food and drink and excellent staff. One of the easiest 10/10s I've ever given.

Myself and my husband had a Wonderful stay and experience at Glenskirlie Castle, celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary. Our room was just beautiful and our stay was perfect. We were lucky enough to have a look around the grounds and celebration room again to reminisce about our special day. The service was fantastic and the new menu in the restaurant was lovely. Planning on bringing my mum and bridesmaid back for a lovely afternoon tea in the near future.

This is a beautiful property. Dinner was excellent, the staff was kind and professional.
The room was large and the bathroom was luxurious. The food was phenomenal. I wish we had stayed here more than one night.
The one problem I had was that one of the mattresses on the king bed in the room was junk and needed replacing.
