Socialtel Baños ★★★
"I really liked it, in an area far from the city, I felt very comfortable, the staff is very attentive and cordial,"
Sangay Spa Hotel ★★★
Hotel Donde Marcelo ★★★
"All right, beautiful and comfortable place"
La Casa del Molino Blanco B&B ★★
"There are many reasons to choose this hostel. I liked my room (private double room), the bathrooms, the terrace, the fantastic breakfast, the quiet (it was off-season), and especially the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff. Special thanks to Elba, who was so supportive upon my arrival. I also liked the location on the outskirts of town. This meant there was no traffic noise, and the various hiking trails were within easy reach. It was an ideal location, even though the bus station and town were only a 10-minute walk away."
La Posada Del Arte ★★★
"We stayed at Posada for one night. It is a charming hotel in a very convenient location. The wonderful artwork for sale that is displayed on the hotel walls makes it feel like you are staying in a gallery. Our room was small, but well appointed. Sadly, the bed was not comfortable. The best part was that we had a lovely view of the waterfall. We stayed on a Saturday night when town was very busy. Even with the windows closed we could hear music and voices on the streets till about 2 AM. If the hotel provided a fan, and/or if we’d brought a sound machine, some of the noise may have been blocked. Breakfast the next morning was very good. I recommend the hotel except on weekends, unless you have a good sound machine or enjoy staying up late!"
Casa del Balcon ★★★
"Lovely place in downtown Baños. Checking in was easy. The attendant gave us a tour of the property and our room. The place is quiet. There were some issues with the check out. The attendant told us we needed to pay more. I explained to her I had a confirmation from the hotel regarding costs (2 adults a 2 children). She had to call the manager to clarify the charges. There needs to be better communication between booking staff and front desk staff."
593 Hotel Boutique Baños ★★★
"593 Hotel Boutique Banos had a great location and Paul was very helpful and accommodating with services during our stay. However, I have been very frustrated at my efforts to receive a refund after cancelling one of our nights well in advance of hotel policy and never receiving a refund. I sent multiple emails and also spoke directly to the desk upon arrival and they still have not refunded me for the cancellation. Very disappointed in the lack of effort to handle this when I followed the protocol for a full refund. For this reason, I would not stay in their hotel again."
Hotel Elvita Spa ★★
"This place is your waking nightmare. If you feel like you don’t want to be able to sleep at night at all, this is the place to go. From having absolutely no isolation from street noise, or even any isolation from noise in the hallway, may as well sleep on the street. Pillows are paper thin, service is absolutely horrible."
Samari Spa Resort ★★★★
"My husband and I recently tried a massage service that was overall quite pleasant, but unfortunately not as effective as I had hoped. The ambiance was soothing—soft lighting, calming music, and a peaceful atmosphere that immediately put me at ease. The therapist was friendly and professional, taking the time to ask about any specific areas of tension or discomfort. The massage itself was relaxing, and the pressure was just right for a stress-relieving experience. However, despite the enjoyable nature of the session, I didn’t feel much relief from the muscular tightness I had been hoping to address. The techniques seemed to be more surface-level, focusing more on general relaxation rather than targeting deep tissue. While it was a nice way to unwind and certainly helped with mild stress, I didn’t feel the lasting benefits I’ve come to expect from therapeutic massages. It was a good experience for relaxation, but if you’re looking for more intense muscle relief or a solution to chronic pain, this might not be the best fit. Still, for a peaceful, low-pressure experience, it’s definitely worth considering."
