Very nice hotel and staff, in a small street just next to the main one. Just note shower is from the top only which is not super convenient…
Bring a shower cap.
They have your contacts cheaper than online.

The owner of the hotel was very nice. There was no problem communicating with the translation software. Basically, they would answer your questions. I was too tired after coming down from Bromo. I overslept on the first day and did not go to Ijen. But it rained at night and I woke up from the heat. On the second day, I asked the owner to upgrade the room with air conditioning.
