Solid hotel close to many good restaurants. Very spacious rooms. Just a 7 min taxi ride to the Baotou museum. The breakfast was fantastic. Really fantastic! The staff was friendly, and tried to help me organize an excursion to the Kubiqi desert. Unfortunately they messed that up (but then apologies profusely and gave me some gifts instead). Note to future tourists: Just take a Didi to the desert. Don’t bother about the bus.

The location is super convenient, just a ten-minute drive from where I needed to be. The room was clean and tidy, and the bed had just the right firmness – so comfortable after a long day of business. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, making check-in and check-out a breeze. The breakfast spread was excellent with a great variety, and the local specialties were particularly delicious. Next time I'm in Ordos, I'll definitely choose this place again!
