We chose this hotel simply because it took dogs and it was a convenient meeting place for us en route to the Var from the UK and Dutch friends en route to Holland from Normandy. Had never heard of Bapaume before but weren’t we lucky! Recently refurbished hotel with charming, helpful staff, comfortable bedrooms, lots of parking and extremely good food , we landed on our feet! Bapaume is a revelation too with wide open green spaces and a beautifully kept Australian cemetery dating from the 1st World War if you’re interested in history. Definitely a place qui vaut le détour! We’ll be back.

Great welcome, large room and bathroom very new looking and immaculately clean. Dinner a delight with great choices and reasonably priced. Hard working staff particularly the female. Breakfast good. All in all so pleased with our choice.

Stayed a couple of nights at Hotel de la Paix, it was convenient for some WW1 Somme sightseeing. Enjoyable stay, very comfortable and the restaurant attached is very good. Free parking, good value. Breakfast is on top but a good selection. Would visit again without hesitation if in the area.

Great stopover on our way back from the alps , the hotel is just off the motorway. Our room was well designed and had everything we needed. The Hotel has attentive staff and is Spotless clean , we had superb food in the restaurant and a great breakfast. Thanks

The hotel has been modernised fairly recently so the room equipment is up-to-date. The room layout is typical of what you expect in a modern hotel. Friendly staff. The restaurant serves a wide choice of very good meals which have been prepared with attention. Extensive wine list. The brown tablecloths and quirky napkins are a matter of personal taste but have been carefully thought out. Good parking right outside the front door.

Impeccable la propreté, la sympathie du personnel était très agréable et la cuisine raffinée était délicieuse, par contre petit bémol pour le petit déjeuner pas très élaboré. Chambre moderne, propre magnifique salle de bain. Petit marché à proximité. A recommandé sans hésiter

Nous doutons sur le "fait maison". Légumes sans saveur imbibés d'eau. Pommes de terre grenaille avec la peau pas cuites. Poisson décongelé mi-cuit à l'eau. La sauce flanquée sur le tout ne parvient même pas à rehausser un goût de toute façon inexistant. Le tout apporté tiède ! Bref à fuir côté resto. Sinon jolies chambres très propres, quel contraste, dommage !
