Booking, com informed us at 22:00 on the night before we were to fly that the booking had been cancelled. We spoke to an employee of Gaia Rooms who confirmed our booking was not cancelled! A further email from *********** again informed us of the cancellation. When we phoned Gaia rooms again the employee was very quick to connect us with the owner of Anais who claimed there was a plumbing issue and he put the phone down! Great service!!!!! Not to be trusted. Such a shame and obviously very stressful when our flight was a few hours later. Don’t risk booking here.

Avoid! They scammed me out of 42 euros, accused me of breaking a lamp. Either a ruse or their cleaning team did it. Gutted.

I stayed here in October. There were four of us, traveling with friends. We found the apartment beautiful and spacious, clean, and well-maintained. It's modernly furnished and very bright. Upon arrival, we found bottles of water available, and the bathroom had cleaning products and even a kitchen cleaning kit. It's in a great location, just steps from Plaça Catalunya. The street has excellent breakfast bars and good steakhouses. We were able to get around easily on foot, but the metro stops are nearby. I had a great time, and if I returned to this wonderful city, I would definitely stay here again. I highly recommend it, especially for families with children. The required security deposit was promptly refunded two days after checkout.
