Meliá Barcelona Sky

We stayed in the melia sky in september 23, we got a hola Barcelona travel card from the airport which gave us unlimited travel for our stay. We had to change metro twice and get the tram to the hotel which took around 1hr 10 minutes. The hotel is situated in a lovely neighbourhood and we felt very safe walking around. There is Westfield glories shopping centre a 10 minute walk from the hotel where they had a wide variety of restaurants and shops Our room was large and had a lovely view of the pool however I felt the room lacked on cleanliness. There were complimentary water cans however they clearly had been there for a long time as there was dust on the top of them. The desk area was very dusty and in the bathroom there was hair stuck to the walls and bath from other people. I feel cleanliness is a very basic thing for a hotel and for this reason it did let the hotel down The pool area was beautiful , there are free pool towels next to the pool bar and the sunbeds are comfy We found the closest metro station to the hotel was poublenou which was a 6 minute walk. We had to change twice for metros into the city centr so that’s where our hola Barcelona card came in handy

My recent stay at Meliá Barcelona Sky left me utterly disappointed and disheartened, with a series of unfortunate events overshadowing what should have been a pleasant visit to Barcelona. On the last day of my stay, as I was preparing to check out and bid farewell to the Meliá Barcelona Sky, my experience took a drastic turn for the worse. While in the lobby, attending to the final details of my departure, I was shocked to discover that my bag had been stolen. The brazen theft, occurring within the confines of the hotel lobby, was a distressing experience that left me feeling violated and vulnerable. Seeking immediate assistance from the hotel staff, I was met with a disconcerting lack of empathy and support. Despite my urgent need for help in reviewing security footage to identify the culprit, the staff's response was marked by indifference and reluctance to assist. Their dismissive attitude only served to exacerbate the distress of the situation, leaving me feeling abandoned and helpless. Reflecting on the entirety of my stay at Meliá Barcelona Sky, it's evident that the hotel falls short in several key areas. The accommodations, though initially promising, proved to be lackluster and uninspiring. The room I stayed in lacked the level of comfort and luxury one would expect from a hotel of this caliber, with dated furnishings and subpar amenities. Furthermore, the breakfast experience was underwhelming, failing to meet the standards one would expect from a hotel of Meliá's reputation. The limited variety and lack of freshness in the offerings left much to be desired, detracting from the overall dining experience. In conclusion, my stay at Meliá Barcelona Sky was marred by a series of disappointing incidents that tarnished what could have been a memorable visit to Barcelona. From the theft incident on my final day to the lackluster accommodations and breakfast offerings, it's clear that the hotel fails to live up to the expectations of its guests. I would caution against choosing Meliá Barcelona Sky for your accommodation needs, as the lack of security measures and subpar service detract from any potential benefits it may offer. Wouldn't recommend.

This is so disgusting! I had bugs and cockroaches over my hotel room, and someone as well broke in, infesting the ventilation systems and almost burnt my hotel room! I will give it a raw 1 star! This deserves to be taken down you little dumb wits! Oh, also, that one time when my friend's bag got stolen the other Friday, I was literally on my way home and I found it stolen! Whenever I came back to the room, I saw my pillow filled out with the taste of smelly soy vegan milk that was expired! This is an outrageous disrespect to all the vegetarians, and those who are lactose intolerant do not have any allergies associated with Soy! I am giving this a raw 1 star rating, hopefully to never see you again! 😡💢

This hotel sucks, the waitresses are a big pain in the butt, i saw 1 doing the you know what with a waiter😡😡😡😡 and they dont accept north korean money oh my god this place is just bad, this isnt luxury its just big piece of poop and it sucks alot

Unfortunately, at the end of our trip when we put our backpack on a chair next us (in the lobby), with a glance when we were speaking with our friends, someone grabbed it and stole it. What's even worse is they refused to check the cameras and we had to go back to our country with no passports, no money. We were so sorry staying in here. Wouldn't recommend. Also, just to add that maybe one of the personnel their did it.

Recently I stayed at the Melia Sky Hotel in Barcelona to celebrate a special occasion with some close friends. Our stay has superb from the moment we entered the building and smelled their signature fragance, which helped us relax right away and understand we had entered an oasis within the city. The staff at the front desk was very nice and helpful and the staff at their The Level reception was beyond nice. He was our accomplice with the surprise to one of the friends and even offered to help with booking the spa, despite us changing our minds every other minute about the time. We really enjoyed all the amenities at the hotel, from the The Level apperitivo, to their signature cocktails at their Sky Bar, their The Level Suite (spacious and with astonishing views of the Sagrada Familia) and, to me, the best of all: having breakfast with a 360 degree view of Barcelona. We will come back for sure!
