The room was cleaned daily. The water pressure and temperature in the shower were excellent. Best of all, having a bathtub allowed me to relax every day. The rooftop pool, though not huge, was a lifesaver. Given how hot it was, we'd sightsee in the morning, come back to the hotel, rinse off in the poolside shower, and then take a dip in the pool. Afterward, relaxing in our room before heading out for afternoon sightseeing proved to be much more refreshing than we expected, really helping to alleviate the fatigue from exploring. From now on, I'm determined to choose hotels with a pool and a bathtub for summer trips! The view from the window was also fantastic, and Sagrada Familia was just a 30-minute walk away. The staff were friendly and lovely. Thank you!

This hotel is wonderfully located right in the middle of a street with great Barcelona restaurants and terrace dining. Definitely book a room with a balcony view! However, earplugs are a must. I also recommend a shower filter!

Let's start with the positives – the location is absolutely fantastic. It's close to both Plaça de Catalunya and Eixample. For location, it's a perfect 5 out of 5. If you have a room with a balcony, the view from there is lovely. Now for the downsides. The accommodation feels a bit dated. The overall condition of the place gives off an old and worn-out vibe. If you look closely, you can definitely feel that it's old and not very clean. Other hotels always had an electric kettle as standard, but La Rambla didn't. I was able to request one from reception, but it was in a quite dirty condition, to the point where I couldn't use it to boil water. When I did boil water, lime scale residue floated around, and the inside and spout of the kettle were simply too dirty. I wasn't satisfied with the responses I received from reception when asking questions or making requests; they often just said it couldn't be done or wasn't available. I even tried to exchange the kettle, but they didn't have another one, so I couldn't get a replacement.

Keurig hotel in a prime location. The only downside is that the breakfast is really bad: limited choice, and many items were old or ran out if you had breakfast around 9:30 AM. The coffee and tea were undrinkable. However, the hotel itself is great in terms of cleanliness, friendly staff, location, etc. Definitely book it, but go have breakfast at one of the many cafes right outside the door instead.

Location was good, and the hotel is clean and beautiful. However, no coffee sachets and water bottles in the rooms are a bit of a letdown. Also, it gets more than a bit noisy at night because you are smack right in Ramblas, which is full of bars and restaurants.

Comfortable spacious room. We had an internal room which I wouldn’t book again as the window opened into the central stairwell echoing noise from reception right up through to the top floor. Location convenient for walking, metro, bus and train access making it a great base for exploring the city of Barcelona. Roof top pool was a bonus!

While the location is fantastic, very central and walkable to most of the city centre, the hotel was clean but the pillows are terrible. The rooms are a bit worn and dated. The staff were polite but not very friendly.

The hotel was very clean and had a great atmosphere. We enjoyed the free coffee downstairs in the afternoons. It's only about a 10-minute walk to the two famous 'Casas' (referring to Casa Batlló and Casa Milà, likely), and about 30 minutes on foot to the Sagrada Familia, which was really convenient. There are also tons of restaurants nearby. We were very satisfied!

Hotel Onix has an excellent location. Situated right in the center of Barcelona, on Rambla Catalunya, it's ideal because it's close to everything. The facilities are well-maintained and the breakfast offers a good variety. The staff are friendly and always ready to help.

There is no kettle in the room though u can get water from L1. However, they won’t let u in during breakfast time.
