Room Casa Gracia

This hotel is located just north of Casa Milà, with direct metro access. It's a large hostel with many rooms, an elevator, a kitchen, a backyard, and breakfast. There's also a public underground parking lot nearby.

The old-fashioned elevator was really charming. The quad room was great, with spacious bottom bunks that you wouldn't bump your head on. I booked for three days, and everything was good except on the last day I found some small bugs on the bed. They didn't look like fleas or bed bugs. I forgot to take a picture.

The location is pretty good. I booked an 8-person room, and it was quite spacious with a table in the middle. There's also a kitchen where you can cook your own food, which I was very happy about. It's also quite convenient to walk to the attractions.

Absolutely terrible. Arrived at night to no hot water for a shower. The front desk offered another room just to shower, but in my own room, the sink wouldn't drain. The next day, I asked to change rooms, and they said a 4-person room could only be swapped for a 6-person room. I specifically booked an all-female dorm. When I returned to the room that night, it wasn't the type I was promised at all; even worse, it was a mixed-gender dorm! When I confronted the front desk, they just kept repeating that they didn't have the authority and I should come back tomorrow. There was no way to change accommodations late at night, I was furious. The next day, a man entered the room. The front desk had assigned him to my upper bunk, but there was already a girl staying in the upper bunk. Later, the front desk staff foolishly came in again and asked if anyone was staying in my upper bunk! They clearly had no idea what was going on. The management is extremely chaotic. When I tried to discuss it with them, the front desk even asked, 'Then why did you want to change rooms?' I was speechless. Staying here completely ruined my travel mood. The hygiene was also very mediocre, especially the toilet, which felt quite dirty.

The hygiene was okay, and the location was decent, but the service was terrible. There was no hot water for showering, and even when things were broken, nobody bothered to fix them. It was very noisy. Seriously, don't stay here, it's a huge rip-off. The front desk staff was awful, a bit discriminatory even. They wouldn't let me switch beds even though there were empty ones, but they let a white woman switch. So disgusting.
