About a ten-minute taxi ride from the cathedral, which is acceptable. We arrived late at night on the first day. We booked a room with a balcony, but after checking in and getting to the room, we found there was no balcony. When we went back to the front desk to discuss it, we were told it was their mistake and they couldn't change it until the next day. I asked for a refund of the price difference, but the staff didn't agree and only offered two welcome drinks. After moving rooms on the second day, we discussed it again, and they still couldn't refund the price difference, only offer free breakfast. I reluctantly accepted. The rooftop pool and bar are quite nice.

The hotel is a bit old, and while the room was very spacious, the bathroom only had a bathtub, which made showering a bit inconvenient. The toilet was also a bit small. Overall, it was decent. It's a bit far from the subway station but very close to the bus stop. It's also near Casa Milà and Casa Batlló.

The location is great, with many highly-rated restaurants nearby, all within easy reach. Transportation is also quite convenient. The room isn't huge, but it's very quiet. There's free lemon water in the lobby, and a bar right next door. You need a key card to access the upper floors, which adds to the security. The staff are all very enthusiastic and can communicate in English.

This hotel was amazing one of the best places I stayed and staff were so friendly and helpful. Came in the winter so the roof was closed but still really nice up there.

Our booking was for a room designated as 'King or Twin Room'. We arrived at the hotel around 5 PM on the day of check-in, and the front desk informed us that there were no twin rooms available at that time. They arranged for us to stay in a king room first, promising that we could call the front desk the next morning to switch rooms. Early the next morning, we proactively contacted the front desk. A different staff member was on duty, and she told us that they would separate the beds directly when cleaning the room in the afternoon, fulfilling our request for twin beds. However, when we returned to the room that evening, the beds had not been changed at all. We went downstairs to speak with them, and yet another staff member, who was on duty, immediately shirked responsibility and kept changing their story. First, they claimed it was impossible to separate the beds. Then they promised to definitely arrange a twin room for us the next day. But when we requested written confirmation of this promise, they changed their tune again, saying there were no available rooms and they couldn't resolve the issue. During our discussions, the staff's attitude was very poor. After an argument, one staff member directly refused to continue negotiating, using the excuse, 'I'm off work,' and simply said, 'We can do nothing,' telling us to find a manager ourselves. When we asked the hotel to connect us with the employee who made the promise in the morning, the hotel stated that the employee had already left for the day and couldn't be reached until next Monday, completely disregarding the verbal agreement given to guests earlier. However, I noticed that their attitude towards Caucasians was completely different from how they treated us. In addition to the severe breach of service and communication evasion issues, the cleanliness of the guest room was also just mediocre, with a lack of attention to detail.

The second time I stayed here this month. Arrived early from a cruise ship and the room wasn’t ready, which was expected, but did all the check in and left our bags there. When we returned in the afternoon, the hotel staff (different from the morning ones) treated us in a manner I did not appreciate, especially as we were in a hurry to get to our scheduled Sagrada Família tour.

Here’s a polished review in English: The hotel makes a great first impression. The location is excellent, the building itself is beautiful, and the lobby is elegant and well-maintained. The reception staff were very welcoming and friendly throughout my stay. Unfortunately, the room did not live up to the standard I expected for €220 per night. My room faced directly toward a wall, resulting in a very poor view and very little natural light. Because of this, the room also felt quite cold and uninviting. The room showed significant signs of wear and tear. The walls were scuffed, the door frames had visible rust, and the bed constantly moved away from the wall, requiring regular adjustment. The bathroom was also frustrating to use, as the water temperature took a very long time to change from cold to hot—sometimes nearly 10 minutes of adjusting before it became comfortable. In addition, the room was quite small for the price point. Overall, while the hotel’s location, exterior, lobby, and staff are excellent, I do not think the room quality justifies the cost. Before staying here, I spent time at Dante Hotel across the street and had a much better experience there. For this price range, I would recommend considering other options.

The front desk double-checked me in, which was a bit annoying. The bathroom hygiene was just okay; there were stains on the toilet seat, and the toothbrush provided was already unsealed. I suspect they forgot to clean the bathroom. Everything else was fine, though.

Really nice location and the room was really clean

No basic amenities like cotton bud. When we asked the reception, they just asked us to buy.. Water only provided on day 1, despite we were staying for 3 nights. The price was worth only because of the location..

Absolutely fantastic and highly recommended! Its central location makes it incredibly convenient.
